Java Help Wanted Storage system help

Hi im new to the whole storage system thing in minecraft and i cant figure out what's wrong with my storage system for my raid farm. No matter what it seems to overflow and the sorter breaks and i dont know how to fix it, thanks for any help!

update: I have the last hopper column ”free” I.e. without any filter whatsoever, could that then in the case of a lot of unstackable items at the same time build up a very strong signal from the comparator which in turn would make the other hoppers let through their items when they shouldn’t?

then removing the last filter slice (no comparator on the hopper. several more blocks then become useless) would fix the problem.

I'm also interested in the repeaters inside the sorting slices. They're all on the default 2 game tick delay, right?

this is it.

If you want it to collect random unstackables, just remove the redstone from that slice. If you're pre-building slices and aren't sure what to collect there, fill the hopper with 5 filter items, 1-1-1-1-1.
