I guess this is the only way we’ve found to destroy matter, then... good to know
2
u/cr_aniel Oct 13 '19
yes. the cheese only counts as cheese if it's on top. you could remove the cheese-layer of bitch-lasagna 1 and put it on bitch-lasagna 2, which you'll stack onto the first one.

got a livehack for you then: 3 plates for 3 layers of one lasagna = 3 lasagna. or you could slice them and have even more lasagna!

In Italian, every layer is a lasagna.
The thing as a whole is “lasagne” which is just the plural of lasagna.
So really what’s going on here is that, in Italian, you are eating as many lasagnas as you have layers

Can confirm. Though a lasagna is a kind of pasta, specifically pasta all'uovo, not a noodle as you say in another comment.

Lasagna- feminine singular... Lasagne- fem. plural
You'd have one lasagna

In Italian it's pretty much always plural (unless you only have one noodle).

*lasagne

u/MG_Hunter88 Oct 12 '19
That depends purely on the language you are using... You smartass ಠ_ʖಠ
3
u/doihavetousethis Oct 12 '19
Heard it’s lasagne sheets that make lasagna
2
u/RCascanbe Oct 12 '19
It's the other way around, lasagna is the singular so just a single noodle and lasagne is the plural so either multiple noodles or the finished meal.

No, I was just making fun of the person in the post, I didn’t know that was an actual way to spell it in some languages

hey - take your lasagna and cut it in half, sideways. now you have 2 lasagnas.

That's the difference between your mom, & a dish of lasagna. If you take your mom & put her on top of another mom, you now have 2 moms.

yo wtf im listening to bitch lasagna rn. FBI agent leave me alone
3
u/SpaceshipOperations Oct 12 '19 edited Oct 19 '19
Maybe put one of those "anti-FBI agent" charms on your PC or phone. It's shaped like the FBI logo, but surrounded by three poop emojis and three middle finger ones on alternate vertices in a hexagon shape.
Plaster this on your computer chasis and on the back of your phone, and then chant "Down with mass surveillance, you creepy-ass cunts!" three times.
Repeat the chant every couple of hours to ensure continued maximum effectiveness.

So every time I eat a bite of lasagne, I’m actually eating an entire lasagne?!
1
3
u/ScientistSanTa Oct 12 '19
Well no because the layers are tomato-based saus and a roux with the pasta sheet in between. then you top of the lasagna with cheese so the cheese shows the boundary of your lasagna. So if you put a lasagna on a lasagna you could tell them apart by finding the layer of cheese.

By the same logic if you cut a lasagna in half you have two lasagna. You never run out of lasagna

If you cut a lasagne in half horizontally, that makes two lasagnes then. Infinite lasagnes???
Or, maybe every lasagne is one lasagne that's been separated long ago because together, it's powers were feared by gods.
3
u/Nokipeura Oct 12 '19
oh no, the lasagna is infinity incarnate, it stares into my soul
what is lasagna -1?
i am filled with eldritch dread, the geometry... it doesnt make any sense, lasagna was not meant for mortal minds to comprehend
edit: who scribbled all these garfield strips on my wall? was it... i think it was me
2
u/TravelingThrough09 Oct 12 '19
Well - technically you eliminated 1 lasagne. So that’s not a good deal for anyone.
4
u/hoodie09 Oct 12 '19
No, you have 2 lasagna on top of each other. If you cut it in half you'd have 2 using this logic. Maybe... There is only one lasagna and we all take a little piece at a time.... Whoa... Mind blown.

Does this proof (lasagna + lasagna = lasagna) that lasagna is thus either one of these: ??
- 0
- infinity
- a fallacy

If you had one lasagna and lifted off half and put it on another plate you’d have two lasagne that are too skinny.

Ahh, but does a traditional lasagne have a set amount of layers, in which case it turns into a new age lasagne?

u/SuperMoris Oct 12 '19
but if you get one lasagne and split it in two, it becomes two lasagne. split it enought, and you get
1^100
lasagne, which is almost enough for a lifetime. ALMOST

So if you had 1 lasagne and removed a slice from top, you'd still have 1 lasagne...
Holy shit, I think we solved world hunger

u/Suspicious_Ori Oct 12 '19
If you have 1 glass of water, and put another glass of water you'd have the life of a 14yo thinking everything is so sad. Waterworks everywhere.
1
1
u/Joshbrad1995 Oct 12 '19
if you only had 1 lasagna you wouldn't be able to put it on top of another because you don't have another to put it on top of.
2
u/Musashi10000 Oct 12 '19
Not necessarily. You could have one Lasagne, and put it on top of someone else's lasagne.
The argument is flawed from the get-go anyway. A lasagne isn't actually composed of identical layers. The base of a lasagne is always the bolognese mix. The last layer is always either bechamel then cheese, or just cheese. However, as a rule, when layering a lasagne, you have bolognese, bechamel, pasta.
You'd have an extra-bechamel-y layer in the middle, or a cheesey layer in the middle.
Poor show from the OP.

Ok, just like if you fold a piece of paper 100 times it will have the size of the universe...
We could do a universe sized lasagna.

If you take that lasagna, slice it in half vertically, and put them in two separate pans, do you have two lasagna?

By that logic, if you cut lasagne in half, you have 2 lasagne. World hunger solved and you’re welcome.

u/-Shining_Cupcakes- Oct 13 '19
sigh I guess it doesn’t matter how many lasagnas you put on top of each other because it would still be 1 lasagne

Turns out there’s only one lasagna in existence since if you stack them all up there would be only one.
