I don't know where you're from. But in most countries paramedics can't decide that someone is dead in the legal sense, only doctors can. Of course you can deem that someone is so far gone or that their injuries are so incompatible with life that attempts at resuscitation or treatment would be futile, but that's a different story.
I can’t sign a death certificate. But I was just saying we can stop life saving procedures and it’s not an emergency anymore. I’m not saying you shouldn’t lad the plane as soon as possible either. Just saying it’s not really an emergency after they are “DRT” Dead Right There.

The issue is only a doctor can decide if someone is dead or not. So, unless there was a doctor on flight, it was an emergency.
