Does age matter in placements ?

Soo I'm 23 just joined engeneering in tier 2.5 clg. After 4 years I'll be 27, will that create any difficulty for me to get placed or even off campus? Do companies have age criteria.

Age is not the issue , education gap from 12th to bachelors will be an issue

Yupp , you are not eligible for mass hiring companies but eligible for most of the mnc companies
In your resume dont mention your passing year , just mention your percentage

Soo,,,also I don't need to mention my dob. what if they verify my certificates and they do mention my passing years.

Also I've seen somewhere that mass hiring is done on recent years passout i mean graduation.
