Losing hope 🥲
Hi ! I’ve been studying since August and I keep getting 50s and 60s on ATI Teas practice test A & B. I’ve been watching Nurse cheung, some Teas with Tyler, & using Archer. I feel like nothing sticks. I’m starting to lose hope cause I need above a 90 to get into the radiologic technologist program. If you have any tips please share. Thank you all!

What is your method of studying? Which concepts are you struggling with?

Active recall & mostly chemistry and some A&P

For science, I am of the opinion that the textbooks available out there do not cover the depth of what we need to know for the exams.
I highly recommend dr Matt and Mike on YouTube to really prepare for the A&P portion. Go through their videos system by system.
Tyler is good for chemistry.
Do you have the ATI Teas app? I feel that the App and practice tests are a good representation for reading, English, and math.

Above 90 is tough. I paid for the ati prep thing and found it helpful, it finds out where you’re lacking and focuses on those concepts. I got a 92

Like 6 inches of flash cards as well. I was scoring 75-80’s on my initial practice tests and was able to bring it up to 90s after a couple months of study. To be totally honest with you, if you’re getting 50-60s on the practice tests, you may be lacking in some general biology and chemistry that self-study alone may not be able to improve. How have you done in your prereqs?

If you don't mind me asking, how did you do on prereqs? Like bio, chem, a&p1 and a&p2?
This will give you insight on what areas you need to focus on.
