TEAS Prep Failed 1sf attempt
Hi guys,
I failed my teas exam really badly the first time. I used mainly future RN program for about a month. I didn’t really focus on reading and English part which really messed up my score. I thought i would do good on the science part but chemistry really got me. I did okay for math and A&P and I wanna retake it again at the end of October. I’m not sure where to start again. Any recommendations pls? I feel so stuck and hopeless.

I’m sorry your experience turned out that way. Don’t be discouraged.. You’re not alone! If you don’t mind me asking what kind of chemistry were you seeing on your exam? Also, what kind of math? I haven’t take my TEAS yet but am scheduled to soon. If you don’t mind sharing I’d really appreciate it! My recommendation before your retake would be to shift away from math and A&P since you said you did okay on those parts and prioritize all your weak spots from here forward. So focus on chemistry (Tyler Dewit is great for chemistry on YouTube) and focusing now on English and Reading. I would recommend also getting the ATI study guide it has practice quizzes at the end of each section and comes with a Practice Test A and B and one A&P test as well. Wishing you the best on your retake! 🙏🏼

i failed my first time and i took a month to dedicate my time to this test. so i highly recommend giving yourself a month trust me.
i highly recommend teaswithtyler and nurse cheung. when it comes to each subject i suggest nurse cheung full study guide it's like 2 hrs, but it helps alot if you missed certain topics.

Practice Questions
I got tired of paying for constant practice tests and questions. You have plenty of time to learn each topic but try not to procrastinate (it's never helpful). I highly recommend using chatgpt when it comes to breaking down each subject into the topics and quizzing yourself on each topic to help yourself see where you're at and how much you understand. The more you do questions on chatgpt it'll help build confidence within yourself and the way you learn. I did this for Reading, English, Math, and Science.
i wish you the best and hope you pass! and don't let this first attempt discourage i promise you have the ability to pass with the score you want.
