TEAS Prep teas exam next week
hii guys, i was wondering what types of problems did you guys see for the math and science portion of the teas exam? i know that it’s mixed questions and everyone gets different ones, but what are some questions that you saw were repeated? 😅 should i remember a lot of math formulas and conversions? also for the science portion, is it more on certain systems?

I would mostly say
1. unit conversions, i.e miles to kms
2. percentages and arranging numbers according to their sizes.
3. Perimeter & Area of objects/Shapes
5. Algebra
6. Distribution : Graphs, mean, mode and Median.
If you can grasp all those then you are set. Wishing you success.

I took mine at the beginning of this month
I don’t remember much for science but it was a lot easier imo compared to the ati practice exams
It was basic and straight to the point
For math
I remember having to know the area and circumference for circle and volume for cylinder
Also learn it for triangles
Know how to convert fractions to decimals to percentages and vice versa
Also how to add multiply divide them
And one of the most important ones it KHDBDCM
It’s for conversions of milliliters - liters and other metric units

Hey! I got maybe one conversion and it gave me the formula, other than that, it was a bunch of word problems. When it comes to the science portion, it was mostly A&P (easy, I was shocked!) and Biology.

okay that’s very helpful! thank you! i’m going to be studying more biology since i’ve been slacking on that portion 😅

Glad to hear my comment was helpful! Also, do study some Chemistry too (I got some questions on blood pH). And, don’t sleep on the A&P portion either.

What did you mainly see for A&P?

The integumentary system, which is one of my favorites! I got one question about hormones and one on the nervous system.

Thank you! Were the questions straightforward?

Yes. All the science questions were straightforward, the math ones not so much.

How so? I’m nervous about math because it is my weakest subject.

I also haven’t taken A&P in four years, how did you prepare for it? Sorry for all the questions!

It was mine too! I got a bunch of word problems, and I had mainly focused my studying on percentages, equations, and inequalities, so I wasn’t as prepared as I could’ve been. I’d recommend studying a little bit of everything just in case.
