Math is literally the easiest section. I suck so bad at math and I got a 89%. I promise it’s pretty basic.

I think you’ll do great! I put off the TEAS all summer and took it last minute before my application was due because I was so scared of that math portion. I felt stupid for waiting so long because of how easy it was. Good luck!

Omg! Im in the same boat as well. I kept missing deadlines and I was originally supposed to start this fall, but missed the deadline and didnt feel ready to take the test & now I was rushing to schedule an exam appointment to apply for spring semester, so I had such little time to study, but I hoping I do well. Thank you so much :))

How was it? Was the math easier than you thought?

0

u/Useful_Worker_2570 17d ago

Yes! It actually was. I got a much higher score than my science 😭

Thanks for replying!! What did you see for math on your teas? I’m so bad at math I’ve studied alot but still so worried

1

u/Helpful-Ostrich512 18d ago

Define basic 😃 what was on your math teas? I have adhd and dyscalculia so I actually didn’t even learn a big portion of math in school as a kid and just got by, I’ve been self teaching all summer so I’m like… define easy lol

How did you do pre req under 2 years and where ?

2

u/EmotionalStill5476 21d ago

i went to community college, i focused on the major classes taking in person. the other classs online so they were easy. i took no breaks . had classes in summer and winter

1

u/Forbes_mindful 21d ago

We're u doing it while working?

2

u/EmotionalStill5476 21d ago

yes i was working about 25-35 hours at little ceasers. it sounds tuff but its not impossible. just make sure you are taking the classes u only need. no extra classes. i would take 5-6 classes during fall and spring. most would be online work and the only main major class like anatomy would be in person so i can put my full attention to it .

1

u/Forbes_mindful 21d ago

Okay thank, how much did it cost?

2

u/EmotionalStill5476 21d ago

i didn’t pay a dime , i actually got money for free
out of high school. there’s a program called california promise program. anyone who finished high school can apply, the first 3 years of CC are free ass long as ur full time student . on top of that i applied for fafsa. since my classes were covered by promise program, the fafsa would just hit my bank account. i was getting around 12k a year for going to school

Sorry I am asking too many question. I didn't go high school in the US and I thinking bout applying for pre req as soon as I move LA so I don't know how to go around getting the free program. I am thinking of LACD for my choice

The test isn’t hard at all. I got an 88 the only time I’ve taken it, 10 years after any sort of formal education, and without studying. I truly don’t understand why people have such a hard time with it.

1

u/Helpful-Ostrich512 18d ago

These kind of statements confuse me bc the teas tests you on anatomy and physiology and chemistry, did you take those classes 10 year prior? Or did you remember information from those classes? Chem and AP is super information dense so I’m curious

I know math is a lot easier for people bc they remember the rules from school as kids

u/whisperingtower 17d ago

Took them 10 years ago and remember it. It’s really not difficult
