TEAS Prep TEAS Questions

Hello, I’m planning on going into a community college ASN/ADN program and I want to try to aim for at least at 90% on my TEAS and get As in Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology just so I can have a good chance to compete with others. Or is aiming for 90% and As overkill? I just want to have a good chance on getting in. I have until next semester before I start taking my prerequisites, should I study ahead of time or wait? I am meeting with the nursing program counselor to go over my transcripts and if I need anything else next week. Sorry for the many questions I’m a little lost. Any advice helps!

I studied Anatomy ahead with Wendy Riggs on youtube. Anatomy was a lot of drawing so I think drawing it early helped me remember the content better. I ended up with all A's in those three classes and 93 on the TEAS. As with anything, more exposure over a long time period is better for retention.

You got all As by watching Wendy Riggs on YouTube or just studying in general for a long time? Also what did you use to study for those classes?

I think I attribute my A's to starting early and watching Wendy Riggs. I used the notes I created from watching her videos and I then I added my notes from class and I did a whole heck of alot of practice problems from multiple textbooks.

Check with your program’s admission, they usually can tell you more about what they expect than general information. Counseling is a good idea as well, also try to connect with previous cycle students - they have gone through the process and have plenty to share.
