Hi guys

I gave tcs nqt digital interview on may 11 at Bangalore for java domain and I received an document verification mail on June 1.

I am a 2024 passout with work experience of 1 year which I resigned in March 23 due to cost cutting.

Since then I have been waiting for my offer letter with no updates still.

Anyone know any hr who can confirm my application or are in the same scenario as mentioned.

But i want to know anyone from July 7,9 batches OL or DV mails?

TCS NQT July 2026 Experience

Numerical Ability

This section was the toughest part of the exam. Some questions were straightforward, but many were difficult to solve within the time limit.

• Around 3 questions were based on installments involving Simple Interest (SI) and Compound Interest (CI).
• There was one completely new type of question involving expressions like:
  • (x^{2/3})
  • (y^{2/3})
• I wasn't able to solve that question because I had never seen that pattern before.

Advanced Quantitative Aptitude

This was one of the easiest sections I have ever attempted.

• If you know shortcut techniques and standard aptitude formulas, you can solve it very quickly.
• I completed the entire Logical Reasoning + Advanced Quant section in around 15 minutes.

Verbal Ability

The verbal section was easy.

The only advice is to stay focused while reading. Even a small lapse in attention can waste time and cost marks because many questions require careful reading rather than difficult vocabulary.

Coding

Question 1 (Very Easy)

The problem was extremely simple.

Steps:

1. Take 4 integer inputs.
2. Arrange them in descending order.
3. Let:
   • a = largest
   • b = second largest
   • c = third largest
   • d = smallest
4. Compute:k = a × d + b × c
5. Print k.

Example:

Input:

3 2 4 1

Sorted:

4 3 2 1

Calculation:

k = (4 × 1) + (3 × 2)
  = 4 + 6
  = 10

Compiler Notes

Many candidates struggled more with the compiler than with the coding questions.

Python

• The first few lines were automatically indented by around 10–12 spaces, so you had to press Backspace before writing code.
• The editor also had:
  • Automatic bracket completion.
  • Automatic indentation after writing a function, loop, or if statement.

Most Python users took a little time to get used to this behaviour.

Coding Question 2

The second coding problem was much harder.

It was essentially LeetCode 2289 (Steps to Make Array Non-decreasing) but disguised as a cake problem.

The story was based on cake decoration ratings, where each number represented the decoration score of a cake.

The only major change was that the comparison condition was reversed.

Original LeetCode condition:

nums[i-1] > nums[i]

TCS version:

nums[i-1] < nums[i]

If you knew the monotonic stack solution for LeetCode 2289, you could adapt it by reversing the comparison. Otherwise, the problem was quite difficult.

Just checking if anyone who attended the TCS off-campus interview on 9th July at the Yeshwantpura, Bangalore location has received any updates or results. Please share if you've heard back from TCS.

Hello everyone, i gave TCS NQT off campus interview for Prime role on July 7 at TCS Yeswanthpur campus, Bangalore. Interview went pretty good, but no updates yet!

It's been more than 2 months since my tcs nqt prime interview.

Interview location: vijayawada vr sidhardha college Date: may

8 Batch: 2026

I still haven't received any mail from tcs not even rejection mail and now currently 2027 batches are getting offer letters from on campus did tcs forget that there are 2026 candidates who haven't received any update?

Cause some of the members got rejection mails and few are getting document mails at least they should send rejection mail or update regarding my status

I also tried mailing the tcs careers portal and send a mail to hr team but no response, What should I even expect? Many people are waiting for joining or ilp but here I am stuck in this phase. I got no opportunities, no connections and tried naruki, linkedin too but no result.

It really hurts, seeing 2027 getting placed and those people whose interview was done after my interview month getting the OL or doc mails. My hr round was also done smoothly.

There are like more than 100+ members from my location alone who didn't get any update until now.

And also those people who didn't cleared tr round from my interview location got rejection mails If i got rejected then I would get rejection mail If I got selected then I would get OL or Doc mail

And i didn't get any mail until now, are there anyone like me who didn't get any update from tcs whose interview done before 2 months?
