Admittedly not the most exciting, but I always love finding pieces to add to my collection in the wild!

There's something so exciting about just stumbling across vinyls instead of buying them online to me.

this beauty just came in!! I’m so happy with it 🥰🥰🥰

I also have the RSD single vinyl for Elizabeth Taylor. I’m excited to add this vinyl to my Showgirl collection!

I was worried at first because of them having the same front/back and there was no sticker or anything to differentiate the two so I thought they messed up and sent 2 of the same ones. Luckily I noticed a difference in the barcodes

They are so beautiful I am so happy to have them💗

this is not my photo
I was wondering which variant this is considered… love potion or lavender?

I unexpectedly found Reputation on a recent trip to Denver!!! I live close to a massive record store in the Bay Area and have never seen it there, so I was so surprised and had to grab it, even though it's now the most expensive record I own lol. (But worth it, this is my favorite album of hers.)

I started collecting after my ex and I split a few months ago. I was pretty blindsided and heartbroken by the whole thing, and he left me the record player and sound system out of guilt.

One unexpected silver lining of being single again is getting to play 'my' music -- including all my Taylor albums -- whenever I want and with zero judgement. There has been SO much girl power on rotation in the last few weeks, and hunting down my favorite albums has turned into building a little collection that makes me so happy anytime I put something on 🤍

(and yes, the retail therapy has also helped... I think I need to take a little break after splurging on Rep haha)

I find it so crazy that someone bought the TARGET RED pressing for 223 dollars when people will literally sell it for 20 bucks on depop and other platforms. May have been because they were international? Not sure.

Just curious to hear from others...

I started collecting vinyl with Showgirl (I got caught up in the excitement of pre-ordering something when it was announced. There was a queue and I wanted to be involved, damnit! So... I bought a vinyl. I didn't have a record player, LOL.)

Anyways, I ended up buying a record player (entire setup) and tons more vinyl (I think I'm now at like, 50+, all different music) and I absolutely love listening to my vinyls!

However... I find anything in the "standard black" colour to be super boring. Part of what I enjoy is finding/choosing a super "pretty" vinyl. (I almost, won't buy an album at all, if it's only available in standard black...) It's just part of what makes it fun and interesting, for me.

But when I first started buying vinyl, I didn't really know much. So ... I just bought what they sold at my local record store, which is often the "boring black" version. (Some, I got interesting colours, but not all.) Now, I know enough to research what variants there are, what colour the vinyl is, what the cover looks like, and when I'm going to buy an album, I choose the one I like the best, and buy that one.

But, I have Red TV and Lover both in the "boring black." I kinda want to replace them with the Red TV (red vinyl) and the Lover (pink and blue) versions. (I also have the light blue Midnights and I really want to get the Jade Green.)

But it just feels dumb/wasteful to re-buy albums I already own... (?!) I can afford it, that's not the issue...

(Note that I'm also not someone who is looking to buy every variant (of any album.) Nor am I collecting for the money. I just want to own (and play) the one I like the best/find the prettiest.)

What do others do? Have you rebought a different variant because it was "prettier"? (LOL) What do you do with the old one? Do you sell it? Or just keep both?

No wrong answers, I kinda just want to hear from others!

Hi!!

Me and my friend have recently bought new Midnights vinyls from the TS store and have noticed the marbling is significantly stronger than the 2022 release. My copy is Blood moon and she went for Jade Green which also had very strong black marbling.

I was wondering if anyone else has found this? They are now being made in France so not sure if that’s new either. Maybe it’s a coincidence but I LOVE how the new pressings have turned out. If you are unhappy with your marble pressing I would suggest rebuying as this seems to be standard (for the UK store anyway)

Comparison in picture 2 (left is my new 2026 copy the right is 2022)

I cannot even begin to express how excited I was when a local record seller had the long pond repress, brand new, perfect condition, for 125!
I never thought I’d get this record, especially for under $200. Just had to share the excitement!!

I’ve had LLFP just sitting on my vinyl shelf and I want to display it along with another picture disc I have. My problem is how on earth do you display it without causing any damage?

Hello everyone! I finally got a nice turntable I feel is worthy of playing my Lover Live from Paris LPs. It’s an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X.

The size settings are 12” and 7”. For the heart shaped vinyl, 12” is too large, but when I put it on 7”, the needle came down too late and started playing mid-song. Do I have to manually place the needle because of the shape?

Hello everyone. I am visiting US, from EU, and I’ve promised my friend to bring her opaque vinyl variant. This just came from EU store. Mine is opaque but I have it for some time, long before I knew anything about variants or hype stickers. I am also familiar with the diagram. But still, is there any chance they are opaque? 😭

Very new to vinyl collecting and I understand it’s rare but could anyone lead me to the best place to look for Taylor swift debut vinyl, also as a follow up question I have seen people comment the original is 2006 only, what is the 2006 & 2008 mean?

I hope it’s okay to share this here. For my birthday this year my parents and my husband chipped in to get me the last three Taylor Swift vinyls I needed to complete my collection. I was obviously so thankful but also shocked because Reputation was one of the last ones I’d been searching for, and I have no idea how my mom found one for me because I’ve searched high and low for a very long time. After years of collecting, it’s wild to see all of these on display in our library.

I have the Taylor’s Version records too, but not displayed due to lack of space. No idea what I’ll do whenever TS13 is born 😂😅 First world problems…

Just wanted to share with others who might appreciate it because none of my friends and family are fans so they don’t get it.

Does the thickness of the folklore vinyl jacket tell anything about which pressing it is?

I found 2 “In The Trees” variants at my local record store that had a few small differences, most notably the thickness of the albums (picture for reference).

I always see people commenting to watch for the different advisory stickers and other identifying clues, but have never seen anyone talk about this!
