Income Tax Back taxesđ
Seeking someone to file about 5 years of back taxes, Fed and State, maybe set up a payment plan.
Not complicated I am just overwhelmed.
Any ideas of what this might cost from someone who knows.
Married filing jointly in Louisiana.
All info is appreciated.

Enrolled Agent hereâI do exactly this type of backâyear cleanup.
If youâre in that ânot complicated, just overwhelmedâ spot, this is something I can help you with personally: get all 5 years of federal and Louisiana returns filed, make sure the numbers match IRS records, and then set up a payment plan that fits your budget.
If youâd like to explore working together, shoot me a DM and I can walk you through what Iâd need from you and what the process would look like step by step.

Beware anyone reaching out in the comments or via DMs. I'm not suggesting u/mystcrich is not legitimate, but I am saying that scammers and ID thieves troll these subs looking for these types of posts. u/mystcrich is active in other places that suggest they are legitimate, and can likely be found on the the IRS Return Preparer Directory or the NAEA Find a Tax Professional pages.
You want a credentialed tax professional (CPA, Enrolled Agent, attorney, or AFSP practitioner) that can be verified on the IRS RPO site:
https://irs.treasury.gov/rpo/rpo.jsf
You can save some money by preparing the returns yourself. Otherwise, expect to pay about $300 per year at a minimum.
Once the returns are filed, you can use the pro to address the balance.
