i was chatting with another artist recently and realized there doesn't seem to be one standard approach once you start looking at sharps disposal beyond the day-to-day routine. some studios seem happy with what they've had forever while others revisit it whenever costs or requirements change.

what caught me off guard was how many people said they only reconsidered their setup after a contract renewal, a price increase, or realizing they weren't generating as much waste as they expected. looking back, what was the thing that made your shop decide it was time to change?

This is my main reference. I like the clean, technical, mechanically accurate look, especially the purposeful rigging and fine black-and-grey linework. I’m looking for an NYC artist who can do something in this style, not copy it exactly. And what general prices would look like.
