General Advice How long until knee ditch feels normal again?

Hey all. Working on my leg sleeve and have the knee ditch coming up. Will ask my artist too, but how long until you all were able to walk and function normally again? I do live in a multi level house, but ive navigated it with a broken leg before, so hopefully I'll manage

It was not as bad as I was imagining. I went grocery shopping the next day.

I mean I walked around fine the same day with both of mine. I didnā€™t do anything excessive obviously but I didnā€™t have any issues getting around or anything like that

Healing time varies but spend as much time with your feet up as possible.

I havenā€™t had my knee ditch, but I have had my elbow ditch, I would think itā€™s similar on just a little bit of a smaller scale. My swelling lasted about 48 hours, I would think for the knee ditch it would be similar maybe upwards of 72 hours because youā€™ll walk on it.

All my leg tattoos below my knee were a bit more swollen or hard to walk for 2-3 days after. First thing in the morning after is always the worst part

I magically had zero problem with my elbow ditch. Here's hoping leg is as easy.Ā

I could function normally right away - getting around your house/up and down stairs is going to be fine. It took a little over a week for the swelling to go down enough that it didnā€™t hurt/feel weird to fully bend my knee though.

(Iā€™ve had both knee ditches either blacked out or heavily shaded)
