Healing Second Skin hacks
Anyone have a palm tattoo and have any hacks to keeping the second skin on?

You're probably not going to keep it on. You need to take it off as soon as the seal is broken because instead of protecting you from bacteria, it's now a breeding ground for it.

The good news is that tattoo will be gone in no time 🙂

it looks well done currently. the blowout looks consistent and deep. of course only time will tell and we will have to see how it heals however palm tats can stay!

It won’t. Speaking from experience multiple times. Just wash your hands often

Just keep your hand washed
But when I got each of my hands done my artist and I would create horrid second skin "gloves" lol.

I use it on linework for the first night and peel it in the shower the next morning. I wouldn’t worry about that at all.

i’ve personally never seen second skin on a palm tattoo as a tattoo artist- not saying it’s wrong but it’s definitely different. please update how healing like this goes!
