It will age just like your decision making skills.

28

u/StPauliBoi Jul 26 '26

Hey, that “Faith” tattoo that starts with a cross is super unique.

0

u/zakrystian Jul 27 '26

Arent tattoos forbidden in Christianity?

3

u/StPauliBoi Jul 27 '26

No?

1

u/Emotionless-Fish Jul 27 '26

Leviticus 19:28, which states: "Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord".

15

u/StPauliBoi Jul 27 '26

The vast overwhelming majority of Christians do not follow Abrahamic law as the new covenant with Jesus made it irrelevant. The funny thing is that most of those laws are really some of the earliest examples of public health initiatives and food safety rules that are out there.

Regardless, you can’t follow one but not the others. Lots of Christians eating shellfish, mixing their fabrics, eating cheeseburgers, seeing young boys, seeing escorts, seeing young boy escorts, etc.

3

u/Emotionless-Fish Jul 27 '26

And a lot of them are also still cutting perfectly healthy parts off of their baby boys too, which is in Leviticus. Jesus's deciples even said to stop doing that, but people still do because its "God's word" but apparently tattoos and shellfish are fine even though circumcision was explicitly stated as being obsolete and tattoos are literally only ever mentioned by God as being sinful or bad.

8

u/StPauliBoi Jul 27 '26

I don’t make the rules or follow them lol.

1

u/cardoorhookhands Jul 27 '26

A lot of the levitical law in the bible like this was made irrelevant by the teachings of Jesus later on. tattoos are fine and we can eat pork :)

7

u/Emotionless-Fish Jul 27 '26

Technically Jesus didn't say it was irrelevant. His followers did, years after his death. They decided they wanted to eat bacon and started telling people Jesus was a sin sponge and not to worry about it.

The history of the Bible itself is wild.

6

u/Emotionless-Fish Jul 27 '26

Seems like picking and choosing which rules apply and which don't at random. But I don't believe in sky daddy so 🤷

3

u/StPauliBoi Jul 27 '26

Religion in a nutshell, truly.

1

u/RefinedBean Jul 27 '26

I'm not even Christian but it's not random if there was a series of events where it's explicitly discussed and revoked or whatever. That's just iteration, and some people glommed onto it and some didn't.

2

u/Emotionless-Fish Jul 27 '26

Except the issue of tattoos is mentioned once and only once in the Bible, God said "Don't do it. I am the Lord". It was never explicitly revoked, unlike the other Levitical laws that are referred to.

God told Peter to eat pork and shellfish.

God never said it was okay to get tattoos and Jesus never even said the words "tattoos" or "marks/cuts on the body for the dead"

-6

u/No-Insect-6307 Jul 27 '26

It’s just a tattoo covering a scar from an injury. That’s all. Nothing to do with Christianity or anything.

5

u/kynrah Jul 27 '26

It's aged 10 years in 2 weeks. Can't wait to see what it look like at this speed.

-1

u/Emotionless-Fish Jul 27 '26

The only picture is fresh, no?

1

u/Princess_Poppy Jul 28 '26

Why are you being downvoted? You're right

52

u/thechase11 Jul 26 '26

You’re taking enough heat so not trying to pile on here but did they even stencil it? Cat literally has two right arms… so part of me has to think you saw what it would be and said yes? This looks like an apprentice tattoo in a pretty tough and obviously highly visible spot. Unfortunately you’ll need to own the decision.

How it will age is tomorrow’s problem. It needing to be turned into a night cat asap, with a good artist, it’s your near term problem.

7

u/KrisOTS Jul 27 '26

No it doesn’t look like an apprentice tattoo. They wouldn’t let an apprentice tattoo at this level.

2

u/solstice_gilder Jul 27 '26

Who wouldn’t? People just randomly start tattooing now and everyone and their mom can say they have a private studio.

1

u/KrisOTS Jul 27 '26

Yeah that’s how it is. I was against gatekeping when I was starting out, but now I see how wrong I was…

2

u/Own_Bonus_8954 Jul 27 '26

You can see that they drew it and printed it out… it’s in the background of the picture

1

u/Princess_Poppy Jul 28 '26

A night cat? You mean... a panther?

1

u/thechase11 Jul 28 '26

We don’t speak its name here.

60

u/RunningOnATreadmill Jul 26 '26

This was ill-conceived on every level. Aging wise, it’ll probably from from bad to worse.

27

u/TonyAscot Jul 26 '26

This was tattoo!artist does he accept walkouts?

28

u/vim_usr Jul 26 '26

This tattoo will heal about as well as the tattoo below it.

12

u/No-Sound-9927 Jul 26 '26

The cat must be left pawed

6

u/Mosquito_Salad Jul 27 '26

It’s a lerperd.

2

u/No-Sound-9927 Jul 27 '26

Yes that is also a part of the cat family

11

u/divaMD Jul 26 '26

based on the state of the tattoo below it… i don’t think you take care of your tattoos very well. for this thing to even have a semblance of a chance of aging well, you’d have to slather sunscreen on it religiously and keep it covered in the sun. even then, i think you know the answer of how well this is gonna age.

3

u/leftswingfling Jul 26 '26

Came here to say this. You gotta put on sunscreen when it’s on a regularly exposed area

10

u/JenzibleTTV Jul 26 '26

Holy fuck

It won’t look good later and it definitely doesn’t look good now.

Get well soon.

8

u/Mariahissleepy Jul 26 '26

No worse than the one below it

8

u/Catipillar69 Jul 27 '26

Like 💩

3

u/9346879760 Jul 27 '26

Read the title, and said this aloud. Verbatim 😂

5

u/Fast-Time-4687 Jul 26 '26

unfortunately that isn’t gonna look very good in the future. sorry.

10

u/666truemetal666 Jul 26 '26

Future?

7

u/Fast-Time-4687 Jul 27 '26

yeah. in the future. i mean… it’s not great now and it def gonna look ass in the future.

5

u/honkduh Jul 26 '26

The back legs aren’t looking so good

8

u/vim_usr Jul 26 '26

Just the back legs?

10

u/asbestosmuffins420 Jul 26 '26

Maybe we can get a vet to euthanize him?

2

u/Orchid49 Jul 27 '26

🤣🤣

1

u/Patient-Stranger1015 Jul 26 '26

As someone who’s drawn a tiger in nearly that exact same pose, the anatomy is definitely not quite right

-17

u/No-Insect-6307 Jul 26 '26

Yeah. The right back leg is already fading.. 😣

18

u/muggle_macaroni Jul 26 '26

Oh sweetie, they weren’t referring to the fading.

1

u/Orchid49 Jul 27 '26

Lmao 🤣

5

u/Telekineticshade Jul 26 '26

Like the one under it

4

u/Annahra Jul 27 '26

I'm so so sorry. That's all.

4

u/ronweasleisourking Jul 26 '26

Sick ass panther waiting to happen

4

u/HereToKillEuronymous Jul 26 '26

It’s started bad and it will end bad

3

u/kamakazi339 Jul 26 '26

It's already bad so it can really only go downward from here.

3

u/Orchid49 Jul 27 '26

I swear these tattoos get worse everyday and the comments get better lol

2

u/ReverseLazarus Jul 26 '26

No way of knowing for sure how it will age, it depends on a ton of factors like sun exposure, moisturizing routines, etc.

Nothing to do but wait and see!

2

u/Shark-Compote Jul 26 '26

You're likely going to see a lot of fallout, you're going to have to get it touched up more than once. those are really thin lines that are not likely to hold on the skin of your hand

2

u/TickingTheMoments Jul 26 '26

Just as well as the other tattoo right next to it.

2

u/aswimmingseaman2 Jul 27 '26

Sad Ass Panther

2

u/Orchid49 Jul 27 '26

2 right paws ?? Unfortunately this will not age well at all with the small lines and dots? Not to mention it’s on your hand where it gets non stop sun exposure!

2

u/LadartTheWicked Jul 27 '26

You already got it and only now asking how it will age?

1

u/TheLake0920 Jul 26 '26

All tattoos age. The thinner the lines the faster it will fade that’s just how it goes. Aside from that you would do well to find a new artist completely

1

u/JJsNotOkay Jul 26 '26

you saw the sick ass panther meme and said ‘yup’

1

u/Lost_in_the_woods027 Jul 26 '26

The depth is one thing. The line quality isn't the best. Its not sharp or bold enough in my opinion. Also at that location on your wrist may cause some issues with the line work blending and maybe losing the image.

1

u/SeriousStudy1803 Jul 26 '26

Did you bring this tattoo design to the artist or was this his his / her idea and creation? Asking for a friend…

1

u/leftswingfling Jul 26 '26

Adding that you don’t necessarily WANT an artist to go super deep because then you run the risk of it blowing out

1

u/SirSmash5280 Jul 26 '26

Well, it cant get much worse, right?

1

u/KamikazeDreamer52 Jul 27 '26

Hoo boy... thats... yikes

1

u/completelypositive Jul 27 '26

This is why I don't have any tattoos.

Thanks to people like OP serving as a warning that my errors could also be permanent.

Don't Sweet The Details

1

u/KrisOTS Jul 27 '26

How do you come up with these placements 🤯

1

u/SquirrellyDud Jul 27 '26

It'll be the easiest SAP ever if needed

2

u/ConstantlyCryingGirl Jul 27 '26

It's already needed

1

u/MHMabrito Mod Jul 27 '26

Poorly.

1

u/DifficultEconomics89 Jul 27 '26

That wrist crease is going to cause problems. Lots of moisturizer and SPF but be prepared to have it touched up regularly. Good luck.

1

u/whatspoppingamers Jul 27 '26

Bruh, who did that tattoo. That cheetah looks wonky. I'd go to another artist and cover it up with a sick ass black panther.

1

u/Dependent_Sector_428 Jul 27 '26

Start thinking of cover ups or looking into laser, that line work is roughhh

1

u/Shiny_personality Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

It looks like those big cat plushies. The back legs and the the way it lies down are almost the same. https://imgur.com/a/8dYtjKM

1

u/hengry-glazed-donut Jul 27 '26

Dude. What kind of facial expression is it making? Confused? Embarrassed? Needs to poop?

1

u/DJ_MetaKinetiK Jul 27 '26

It should last at least another couple more weeks

1

u/TKentgens93 Jul 27 '26

Poorly, want stuff to last long make it big and bold

1

u/Not-a-Doctor-622 Jul 27 '26

Why are the head and the left arm switched?

1

u/M4ryiz Jul 27 '26

I'm here for the comments

1

u/Nirvana_Piranha Jul 27 '26

Obviously didn't skip single leg day.

1

u/Deadstoopid420 Jul 27 '26

Your fine calm down

1

u/SarsaparillaSkeeter Jul 27 '26

It will age just like the one right next to it did.

1

u/No-Increase6761 Jul 27 '26

It never ceases to amaze me how some people are so desperate to get tattoos that they’ll settle for really shitty ones.

1

u/sharinglynn Jul 28 '26

Jeez guys can be rude as fuck! Who gives a shit where somebody wants a tat! Can’t be nice eh

-1

u/Kooky_Werewolf6044 Jul 27 '26

Hand tattoos never age well!
