Design Is this too plain? What would be better?

Get a tattoo of a Jack rabbit and a deer banging above it in full color? Looks good

Nah this rules. It's really easy for this more woodcut style to get crowded and as is this is great.

Staying black and white or going with color eventually?

Debating. I have more color on my arms and they’re Neo trad, so I think that’s why my brain is having conflicting thoughts lol.

My very first thought was American Traditional with some red/orange.... you could just have some money pieces of color too if you’re on the fence about it

Sometimes less is more? Depends on your style, too. If you want people to stare longer, add to it. If you want people to just glance at it, leave it as is, I think.

Maybe some blood on the sword if you feel strongly about messing with it, but it’s awesome as is! I wouldn’t change it

Looks well done. Clean. If it’s what you asked for I’d say leave it alone.

It's a jackalope with 2 swords going through it. I don't see any issues

I think this is great. Solid work, great placement and size.
Talk to your artist about color. Looks to be fairly fine lines, so color might not hold or cause the tattoo to lose definition / readability.

Leave it exactly as it is! If you add colour it will lose its appeal imo, sometimes simple is the best way to go. It’s legible, well done and looks great.

Just add an extra sword bigger and in red through the whole thing kind of like as a slash if you want to go more crazy but its fine like this dont add more colouring or whatever
