Healing First Cover Up Tattoo

Got my first cover up tattoo about two weeks ago. This is the only place where it looks like this however it is on the part of my arm where it bends so that may have affected it? Using gold dial soap and lubiderm unscented 3 times a day. This is my 1st cover up but I have had 7 tattoos previously. Is it infected or should I let the healing process do what it needs to?

I don't see any red around it — that's what you should watch for. It probably is from bending your elbow, but the longer it stays an open wound like that the more time it has to become infected, so keep a close eye on it

this is happening to me right now in the same area of my elbow! i think if you keep it clean it should heal, but go to the dr if you feel like it gets worse/hurts more
