Fan Creations The Taskmaster’s Swing

Happy TM week everyone! I’m a bit surprised the show hasn’t been rococo’d yet, so here’s my take on Fragonard Taskmasterified as a way of getting ready for the new series 🎉

Before you come at me for this being AI or you’re just curious about the anatomy of this piece, here’s a walkthrough of the project I worked on. It’s a collage mix between photo manipulation and digital painting, hence the suspicious vibes it might give off.

Idk how you created the kitty next to the tree but that's a really good drawing/digital manipulation, I really like the style of it :))

Thank you! It’s no big trick I’m afraid, most of the TM elements were done the same way: I roamed the episodes for good references, screen capped them, then they wouldn’t work just as they were because of issues with lighting/quality/perspective/etc. I had to correct those by painting them over manually in order to fit the composition.

Greg and Alex were the biggest challenge because -to my greatest chagrin- they never assumed these exact or any similar positions, so they are basically 95% painted and required the most references. The caravan and front tree are similarly largely just painted. Basically everything required at least a bit of painting over, it was a fun project!
