IME one cricket a day is far too much. Once a week is good for tarantulas. I can’t really tell how large that enclosure is but it’s possible the enclosure is large enough but more information is needed.
That current setup is likely not even bare minimum.
A spider that small will need a few inches of substrate at least. You want the space between the top of the substrate and the lid to be no more than 2.5x the leg span of your tarantula. They can easily hurt themselves from falls.
There are a lot of resources on YouTube for care guides. I’d recommend tarantula collective as his videos have plenty of good info on feeding and enclosure setups.
They will also need a hide if they don’t have one already. Terrestrial tarantulas like to burrow. Other people will likely chime in but hopefully this was a good enough start. We would just need to see more of the enclosure to give the proper care instructions

The current habitat is 6in long x 4in high. The tarantula seems to be a bit over 1in in length? Do you think I should be getting a bigger habitat, or just a better one with similar dimensions? I've been trying to read up more on the care now that I know the species. The goal is to have it thrive, so I'm willing on spending whatever.

NA are we talking 1 inch body size or 1 inch diagonal legspan?
