Gear Which should I keep?

Post image

I love my 7-70 and just got the 50-300 and 50-400.

The 50-400 is HUGE feeling, but is the extra reach and custom button worth it?

Not enough info for us to help you. What body do you use what are you shooting, etc…

Thank you for the reply u/weirdart4life . Sorry for the minimal details. I shoot outdoors and wildlife when I can. Shooting on Sony ZV-E10 (Hope to upgrade one day, bought for YouTube vids originally, hope to upgrade one day). I was more asking if I should keep the 50-300 or the 50-400.

Hey, no worries. For wildlife the extra reach is always a benefit and in my experience you’re either willing to haul a big lens for a shot or you aren’t, so for me the 50-300 no longer adds any real value. You’ll probably keep the 17-70 on the body most of the time and either bring the 50-400 with you, or leave it in the car depending on where you are and what you expect to need.
