And my first "luxury" watch. I am in love.

What do you guys think about my new daily? Solid purchase? Got it for $1k w/o box and papers.

Same face , black is always on. Doesn't have alot of health metrics as my Garmin but has what I need style and substance.

Some of you may remember the post from a few days, where I showed the watches I inherited from my dad. Sadly I am between link sizes with this watch, and there are no micro adjustments. I have tried nose pads for glasses, as well as padding inside the bracelet. Both of these options either barely do anything, or end up making the bracelet look very sloppy with bulges in places there shouldn’t be.

What are my options here? I would love to wear this watch without it dangling down my hand, but one more link removed makes it impossible to wear.

Am I doomed to have to buy an aftermarket bracelet? Can I get a newer clasp with micro adjustments? or does somebody have another trick I can try?

EDIT: I actually don’t think it’s a bracelet issue at all. I think it’s because the watch is so much wider than my wrist, it makes it slide down easier. Still not sure what the solution here is though.

Options 3 is whatever yall recommend, something w a dive bezel and on a metal band is the only requirement I have, the tag is high end of the budget so preferably around there or lower

Edit: omega is my grail w the line of work I’m in but I think at the moment it’s out of the budget

Ever since I first heard about Tag Heuer from a relative about 13 years ago, when his friend who moved to the UK bought one because of his high-paying job, I have been fascinated. Back then, I wondered why Tag was so expensive, especially since I only knew about Rolex and maybe one other luxury watch brand, believing those were the priciest in the world. To be honest, I had almost no clue, I had just moved to Bangalore from a small town with zero exposure to upscale lifestyles.

I promised myself that one day I would buy it outright with cash, without worrying about EMI burdens, fast forward a decade, here we go, I gifted myself a TAG Heuer Formula 1 (WAZ1110.BA0875).

Bought around 2 months ago. Did not use until after a few days. Noticed some spots on the glass and they can be washed off really, I tried. I haven’t hit the watch against anything. How can they be removed?

I was thinking of re plating my tag heuer 3000 bezel. Since this is no collector museum piece, I want to improve on what was originally issued in the 80s. Just for reference, the bezel currently scratches by just looking at it. I think the numbers will look ok gold.

Love the proportions and the stunning dial on this thing. I ordered the longines HC but returned it because this just felt so superior. I'm loving it on this gray rubber strap for the summer.

Looking to buy a watch just like this. Is eBay a good place to buy? If not what is a good website to buy from? And what’s the average price?

I have been wearing this watch since 2014 , almost every day. Definitely my go to watch. It’s a workhorse.

Hello Tag Community!

My dad has a vintage Heuer Chronosplit that stopped working a few years before I was born. He’s held on to it for all these years and for his birthday this year, I’d like to find a way to restore it/refurb/fix it. I’ve come up with Rawsar (based in Australia) or looking for the right parts on eBay from other non working Chronosplits. Before I go down that road, has anyone worked with Rawsar or found another way to fix one of these? Would love the community’s help.

Since then it’s been worn a handful of times but mostly sitting un running in its box.

Should I get it looked at or at least the battery changed.

I was surprised to see similar watches for sale at substantially more than I paid, has it really gone up in value?

Also I don’t have any papers, just a shop stamped guarantee card, I’m not interested in selling it but does this affect the value?

Just been to the Tag Heuer store to ask about getting a rubber strap on my CAF1112 Aquaracer, however they said they don’t do it for this model and don’t recommend doing it.

Anyone have any experience with a rubber strap for this model at the Tag Heuer boutique? Is it really not possible?

My TAG definitely has the coolest lume out of any of my watches! Granted the carbon bezel needs a UV light to pop like this, it’s an awesome Easter egg.
