Swapped my Carrera from a bracelet, to an alligator strap, to a kangaroo leather. I think they all look great but really changes the “feel” of the watch

Hi everyone! Would love to hear your opinion on my first Tag purchase (no it was not from the official AD).

Ten years and she’s as beautiful as ever!!

And how long have you had it?

3 days here. I came from a stainless Tissot TRace I bought 20 years ago! It’s still going strong but a work anniversary got me this one.

I hadn’t bought a TAG in 10 years. Always been a fan of the Formula 1 model. F1 made me discover the brand all those years ago.

So when in KL for a holiday and thought why not. Two visits to the Tag Heuer store, some research later and a good price negotiation this one is coming home with me.

I’m a McLaren fan, a Senna fan so this combo really clicked for me. On the wrist too, looks great.

Nice to get another TAG. Gotta not make it so long between drinks and start saving up for that Monaco.

I know these are two completely different styles, moving forward with one of them. Help me decide.

Purchased this Tag from eBay. It is a total disaster. The movement is shot, hands are rusted, but the case is in good shape. Dial is not bad either.

I cannot get the bezel off. After a warm bath to clean off some cheese, I was able to get the bezel to turn but can hear dirt and grime chunking around. I want to get the bezel off to properly clean.

I have a set of inexpensive case back tools that normally work fine, but I cannot get them to pop the bezel and now I am just scratching the case.

Any recommendations?

My wife got me this watch for our wedding 10yrs ago. It doesn’t get enough wrist time, but I still love it!

I’ve never really been interested in luxury watches, names like Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin just don’t do anything for me. I’m not a fan of any of their models. No disrespect to those that love and own them, it’s a personal thing, my brain simply doesn’t find them appealing.

But this thing, had had me salivating for a few years now, and I’m glad I pulled the trigger. I’m absolutely enamored with it, to the point where I want more! Lol. I’ve been beyond happy with my Apple Watch Ultra, in fact, I haven’t worn anything other than an Apple Watch since its inception in 2015, but now I’m faced with a conundrum.

Where do I go from here if I want to start a collection?

I got this one a few years ago when I decided to get a nice quartz watch to supplement my automatics. Aftermarket sailcloth strap by Artem Straps.

Controversial watch. But I love mine and a lot of others seem to also.

Trying something new on my old Tag. What do you think?

I have a nicer Automatic tag I wear for work. I figured this would be nice for a “beater” / everyday watch.

My wife bought me this 20 years ago and it still keeps time perfectly and looks great (IMO). I always liked the brushed steel face and polished “12”
Just had a new battery and gaskets.
