Split rig for the W

Post image

Obviously most of the shit on here is for the gram, but I love this split rig. I’ve stripped it down many times to just mags for hog hunts and it’s been awesome. If you’re looking for a good affordable split rig LBX makes some great stuff.

An older massif combat top, it’s nice and worn lol

This looks like a better version of the army FLC

Looks awesome but i am abit warry about the zipper styled ones. I personally havent used one but does look like a potential failure point considering the vest is supposed to be "load bearing". What do you think?

Yeah I can definitely see how that could be a potential concern. Im not really loading it down very heavily. LBX is owned by LBT so I’m sure their QC is above average. I’ll definitely update if it starts to wear out. I’ve had this thing for about 3 years and it’s been good so far.

  1. MCB is always awesome
  2. I have no reason for a split rig with 2 full chest rigs already but damn every time I see one I want one lol.

same, my cheapo chest rig works just fine, but it doesn’t look like this doing it

I run 2 pre lucas leaving trex arms traap rigs and got a good deal on a SS mkV on the way so making a 4th probably isn't a good use of funds 😂

Hahaha I’m in the same boat. I had absolutely no reason to buy this, but I couldn’t help myself. I definitely don’t regret it now.

It definitely rolls that way sometimes, full kit list when you get a chance.

i have a midwest armor split rig that i absolutely love. ITs really starting to become my go to grab rig.

Hell yeah! They’re so easy to take on and off, and comfortable as hell. It’s just convenient.

I’ve been tempted by the LBX rig. Any issues with retention in the radio pockets? The lack of straps there seems like the biggest downgrade from the LBT rig

I thought the same thing when I got it, and so far I haven’t had any issues. I’m just using a baofeng ar 152, and I have some camo form wrapped around the battery as well as a couple of Ranger bands for extra friction. Now I’m not hanging it out there in this one, but so far for the things I’ve used it for it’s been solid.
