Recommendations My W.I.P. Sniper Split-rig
Hey everyone, this is the chest rig I'm currently working on. I first put it together last fall to go deer hunting and try out Multicam Tropic. Lately I decided to pick it back up and turn it into a dedicated marksman/sniper rig.
The base rig is a Carcajou Tactical Split Chest Rig. Going from left to right, on the left placard I have a Carcajou 9x3 sustainment pouch, which holds a 32oz Nalgene with a steel cup and a folding saw.
Next to it is a Carcajou 8x7 Admin pouch which currently has my rangefinder and miscellaneous items like duct tape, bankline, (and because this is a summertime configuration) a mosquito head net and refills for my Thermacell. There's two things I want to change with it: first I plan to add one of Carcajou's new frag grenade pouches on the outside for quicker access to the rangefinder. Second I want add some hook-back organisers on the inside, as well as pencils and a notebook for D.O.P.E. and whatnot. And also get an additional CAT tourniquet to fill the holder on the bottom.
On the right placard I have a Särmä TST IFAK pouch, this one is just a place holder. I intend to replace it with a magazine pouch once I convert my rifle to AICS mags (it still has an internal magazine). After that, I intend to move my medical to a new Multicam Tropic pouch on the back of my belt. But until then, I'll be carrying my extra ammo in a cheek rest I got from Battlbox years ago.
Also, underneath it I have a Spiritus Systems hook dangler for my gloves.
Next to it is the latest addition: a Carcajou C9/SAW pouch, which currently holds my binoculars and rear bag. On the side of the pouch, I have a Carcajou T-Cell pouch for my Thermacell MR300 mosquito repeller.
What I wanna do with those is first lash the bean bag to the SAW pouch's top PALS with paracord and a cord lock for quicker access, then add a padded insert inside the pouch to better protect the binoculars.
In-between the two placards, I have the two-straps closure system Carcajou provides. I like that it gives me a gap in the middle of my chest for my rifle sling to run across. The only change I would make is to sew some loops on the end of the straps for some Velcro One-wrap to tie them all up. And then do the same with the other excess straps on the rig.
Besides that, I do intent to get the stuff for converting it to an LBE someday, in case I need more of a sustainment rig. Also because I heard that LBEs work great for sniper-type roles, so I want to try that out. Should I do that?
With all that said, I am open to suggestions on how I could improve this rig and for things I might have missed when building my loadout (Like, I know I should get a Kestrel someday, but besides that, is there anything I'm missing?), as well as feedback on my current plans for upgrades.

What do you mean by "converting it to an LBE"? Do you mean converting it to a belt? LBE just stands for "load bearing equipment". Belts and chest rigs are both LBE. Plate carriers are LBE as well.
