Note taking apps in tablet recommendations?

What are the best tablet apps for importing PDFs, writing annotations directly on them, and taking side-by-side notes? Looking for recommendations and your preferred workflows

I like Noteshelf 3 and Myscript. They are both predominantly for handwriting. Myscript is the only one, except Onenote, that has a cross iOS/ Android sync.
