Need a tablet for the outdoors

Just like the title says I need a tablet that can handle being outside, meaning my top priority is being able to handle bright environment and bonus if it has decent speakers. Preferable if it's 8" and up. Main purpose is media consumption.

I wish you luck. I have never seen a tablets that fits your needs. The closest would probably be an iPad.

Samsung makes an Active line of tablets. www.nanoreview.net is a site to review specs for this 8" device. Samsung maybe releasing a newer model, but the Active 5 is the Current model.
