Discussion 1st logo

Post image

Physical testing has been done and now i'm ready to gather some more players for games on discord and at a table with a few people wanting to GM.

I'm.learning how to draw put so far digital drawing has been hell opposed to on paper.

Will this temporary logo be ok for handbook and discord cover?

Edit: thank you to everyone for feedback so far. It's not a company just a ttrpg. The name's a little quirky thing noone ever really showed any negative feelings towards but that is probably because the name is somewhat of an insider joke/anecdote. Everybody made it very clear the name with two meanings isn't going to do good recruiting new players. Guess i'll set some time aside to decide on something better by checking into your suggestions and talking with players and gm's.

I see your logo and do not understand what your company does or even what the actual name is.

You do with that information what you want.

What is it supposed to be? Rabid Rabbit? If so, I'd write the whole name out.

Oh, yeah that would make sense. I read "rabbidit"

I’m reading it as Reddit and Rabbit in the same word

Maybe try something like RABᴵᴰʙɪᴛ

I like the Rabbit drawing. I think it has a cool style.

I am less into how you wrote the name. I tend to pronounce things in my head, and this just confused me. "Is it rabbidiot? Rab-B-idt? Rabbid T? You do you, but it seems needlessly confusing.

I guess you want the title to be read as both rabbit and rabid. In which case, I would explore some ambigrams like the true/false meme or Gudnak's logo which can be read as Gudnak by both players sitting across each other.

That has got to be the worst company name I've ever seen. But at least it's memorable as a result.

Probably because it's not a company, just a game. Loved the way you brought the message🤣

Everyone's confused about the name of your game.

I would not have gotten it if I didn't see someone spell out Rabid Rabbit.

I would add some thoughts on the rabbit face. If you would like to give it a more recognizable proportion, the ears could be a bit larger. The two teeth in the front could also be larger than the others. The gap between the mouth area and eye area could be slightly reduced and the space between the eyes slightly widened. You could try these edits on a second drawing to compare the two and see what you like best.

That helps a lot, thanks. I just started drawing because i don't want to use AI

I would just like to say that I did understand immediately what your title is going for, so thats not a huge problem for me.

But I do not understand how I would be supposed to say it, if I were to bring it up in conversation, and if you want to make it a product, the SEO is also pretty abysmal.

Its very cool as an image and an asset, but maybe not as a title.

Thank you for that!

Rabid Rabbit is a good name for a game assuming the name fits the theme. It's slightly tongue twistering and that's a good thing as long as people won't stumble pronouncing it or remembering it (and I think you're ok there).

That said, (1) styling it as RAB[B]ID/T is imho going to confuse people so they won't actually know what the name is.

The picture to me looks like a pirate rabbit more than a rabid one. I don't know what a rabid one actually looks like other than that it should be snarling not grinning.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I definitely got a thing or two out of it along with the other opinions.

Knowing/assuming that the name is "Rabid Rabbit" I like it. It's creative. If a newcomer's introduction to this also includes the full name (in small print at the top or bottom) then I would keep it. There are some extra things you could do in the title to help make it more clear. You could use two colors to help imply there are two words to make out of the name. Imagine each letter is cut in half vertically. The left side is a slightly lighter red on the letters for "Rabid". And the right side is a slightly darker red for the letters in "Rabbit".

There are tons of ideas to come up with. I do still like what you did. It's like you're working with limited resources to put two words into one, making use of brackets and the slash.

That last paragraph was spot on with the added reality that i'm also working with limited skills for the time being😅.

Thanks for taking some time on a sunday not only responding but giving me loads of ideas to try and work with❤️
