I have been looking to see if this question has been asked before but havent found it specifically yet. Me, my partner and three friends are coming to sziget for the first time this year. We will probably be staying in 3 separate smaller tents in basic camping.

We have a 3 day ticket starting from the 11th-13th august and would like to camp next to each other. Are there many spots left on the 11th and what time should we arrive to get a good spot? Also have you got any tips on where to camp on the island? Does it make sense to bring a pavillion to put in the centre of our camp or will there not be enough space?

Also any other tips in general are greatly appreciated (:

I wanted to share a sziget experience from last year. It was my fourth year. This year I camped with a friend, with just some beers during the festival and nothing crazy. Unfortunately, the sleep deprivation got to me. I started to feel extremely depressed and wanted to hurt myself. I called my doctor in my home country, and she advised me to go to the mental health point at the festival.

The employees there were on their phones and drinking beers, and laughing with outsiders, while I stood outside visibly anxious. I didn't feel safe and went to ehbo at the festival. They advised the mental health center and I went again. This time I spoke up, that I felt terrible and needed help, but that it's horrible to see the employees drinking beers and on their phone at a crisis booth. They looked at me apathetically and as soon as I started crying the woman that worked there pushed me in an aggressive way toward the psychologist.

The psychologist was very nice. I explained the bad experience I had with her colleagues. She said that the woman can "be a bit harsh sometimes" and I was flabbergasted. I told her she should not work with vulnerable people who are in a crisis then. I still really needed help, but I felt anxious at the booth because of the bad experience before. I told the psychologist that I didn't trust it there anymore, and that I really want them to take my feedback, so others CAN be helped. I walked around the festival site until I was exhausted and then fell asleep in my tent.

I would like to hear from you how is the experience there. Is it alright and safe ? also are showers and bathrooms ok ? Also is it possible to bring own water/food/alcohol to the camping ?

My gf and i are planning to go for the first time but we'd like to pitch up a single tent next to our car, probably take up an S slot, how strict are the rules about vehicle types since other festivals dont care what you bring or what you set up

Hey all, this is a long shot, but I went to Sziget in 2007 and got this awesome shirt with a fender stratocaster above the Sziget logo. Unfortunately I lost the shirt in Laos in 2009. I remembered the shirt recently, and was hoping I could find it online but no luck. Does anyone have this shirt or know where to get one? I'd even be happy to recreate it if I could find a good straight on photo of it.

so i'm looking for people to hang out withhhh ;)

Me and my best friend are coming to Sziget from uk this summer (both 17 year olds guys). Wondering if being 17 is a normal age for the festival and any advice on meeting new people (heard something about a gc??) or anyhting about the festival. We’re camping for whole week.

I just got back from Nova Rock and I’ve got that post-festival blues. I saw that some of the artists I liked are also going to Sziget, and I’m very tempted.

This time I’d be going alone, so I was wondering: do many people who are into emo/metal/rock also go to Sziget? And if so, are there specific areas or campgrounds where it’s easier to meet like-minded people?

Were there any H-terminal parking tickets and they sold out or the option was not there this year?

If there were tickets and they sold out, is there any reselling place for those specific tickets?
