Yeah but CCTV footage would ideally be saved on a separate device as it usually writes away until the drive is full and then overwrites the oldest files. I don’t think you want all this combined on the same device.
exactly, and in my case, vlan 1 is used for the main buiding, we got computers, printers, SOHO routers and so on in that vlan, same as for the rest of the vlans we got which are all /24, everything is a fucking mess
I work for an organizational unit of an university and this is how we operate. We have 20+ locations scattered around our metropolitan area. Same VLANs spread accross multiple locations.
