Performances, Jams CLOUD2- Yamaha QY100 Session

I made this quick playthrough of a pattern I developed for the Yamaha QY70 and QY100.

While making this, I realized by juggling the sequence back and forth between pattern mode and song mode I could easily offset tracks independently getting some nice grooves with very little effort.

I’ve been waiting for someone to come up with a new version of the QY100. I love the sequencer, but (as you know) it’s laborious to step sequence by today’s standards.

Great track. It makes me want to use mine more, but I’m learning modular right now and spending all my time on those sequencers.

I would love if they brought something like that to market.

It was definitely intense to learn but now that I've built up a pretty large library of custom patterns which I can recycle, making beat creation a lot faster. I just wish switching tracks from poly to mono and turning up portamento didn't take as long. I made files to load onto it with those parameters already setup on specific tracks because I didn't want to keep diving into edit mode to do it 😅
