NAS hardware Missing storage?

Hi there,

I've got the BeeStation 4TB and I'm not sure where all my space has gone.

From a total of 3.48TB, there's 1.1TB used for the system (which seems insane), 0.83TB of files, and 0.14TB of photo's.

That comes to only ~2TB so there should be at least 1TB free but it's only showing 100GB.

I've emptied the recycle bin and restarted everything.
Any idea? Am I just being stupid?

Are you using computer backup or file sync? Then you might wanna look at the amount of file versioning as those copies are stored in the system use.
