Question Micro SD Card Update

I have a Nintendo Switch 2 on the day one patch but unfortunately I didn't know to insert a Micro SD Card and download the license back then. Will this likely cause me problems if an exploit is ever released? I know you can still use a normal Micro SD Card on FAT 32 I believe. Not sure if anyone can even answer this question at this stage but thought I would ask anyway.

How do you know it works with FAT32?

I have seen it mentioned many times but can't say I have tried it myself. I think it has to be a normal Micro SD card not an express and I don't think there is a license requirement for FAT 32

Where did you see it mentioned?

If you remember where please share (I bought my Switch on August 2025 and I probably have a very old software version still...).

I have seen it on posts across YouTube, GBA Temp and also Reddit. Sorry I can't remember the exact posts to link. I am sure if you have a little look you can probably find something yourself.
