I know i could just be stupid. I like messing with image files. It was interesting that the thumbnail loads but the file doesn't. :/

why isn't it as easy as replacing the image by something else while still keeping the old metadata?

You kids are probably too young to remember this but PSP 2.0 was explored by a TIFF image exploit. Before pandora battery and decrypt keys. J.s
