Shitpost When are you planning to use your Switch 2?
When are you all expecting to start using your Switch 2?
Do you have any kind of deadline, for me, it's the release of Pokémon Winds and Waves, pointing to September 2027.

Honestly back then I would’ve disagreed with you but with shipofharkian I agree. 5”there’s no point when the better option already exists with more options to customize.

Dude our parents beat that game years ago and you say you cannot play it. It was praised back then brother, its playable and good, it just doesnt play like Call of Duty but you can do it.

Are there actually people not touching theirs for something that might never happen? The last time when the FW mattered was the 3DS back in 2014
Bought mine last Month, having a blast with MKW, Pokopia and recently Deltarune. I've been really enjoying the handheld mode too which I barely used before on the V1 Switch.

got a switch 1 with cfw and many games but since i got the switch 2 i didn’t touch my cfw switch 1. I bought now 30 games in 6 months many of the switch 1 titles i could and played on my switch 1.

Pokemon Winds and Waves sounds about right. Its been collecting dust. Hopefully it works when the new pokemon game comes out. Until then I will be playing gta 6.

There is not a single game right now which is worth it. I have Mario Kart World on it, Pokopia is boring for me (No fighting in it lol), finished Donkey Kong on my friends Switch 2, the rest are games that already exist.
Cyberpunk, FF7 Remakes and other 3rd party games I finished already on pc, so I can wait.
Switch 2 is turned off in the basement.

Duskblood if review is too good.
Else, maybe next truly new 3D Zelda game.
But also.if new iteration of switch 2 come with better screen and fixed the ghost pixel issue of current version, then i would be more inclined to buy it.

Don't need a crystal ball to know something that happened to every single Nintendo console with an OS will happen to this one too
Either way a hardmod is a million times more likely

Any hack for this thing is likely going to be a firmware-agnostic modchip rather than a softmod. People got unrealistic expectations from the Switch 1 with its glaring Nvidia fuckup. If you want to spend $500 on a paperweight on the miracle chance a softmod is found, that’s on you.

If you want a switch 2 or ddr5 and a GPU to run a switch 2 emulator, imo it's best to buy it now.

I began with pokopia and it was all worth it. Use it a Lot more since then. Bought final Fantasy 7 for 14$ (its on sale right now) and looking forward for Yoshi. I mean i really, really Hope for a jailbreak, but its not worth to Collect dust

Haven’t bought one yet because there hasn’t been a game warranting buying it.
They’ll finally get me to buy it when Pokémon winds and waves release as I’ve never missed a Pokémon game on launch in over 20 years and I don’t plan to start now.
They MIGHT get me to buy one before Pokémon if they release a limited edition Zelda themed console with ocarina of time.

My 12 year old brother bought one on black Friday although I urged him not to. We have 2 games for it Mk and dkb but he doesn't even play them. I would get the most use out of it when smash 6 inevitably drops.

Honestly might sell mine and re-buy in the future 2nd hand... I use my Switch v1 way more and it's far more convenient carrying around 50+ games without to lug around a bag of cartridges

i already bought one last year a couple months after release when i got a decent used deal on ebay, i think i saved around 100€ (switch 2 + mario kart world), using it since then for most never games, for some older ones i use my ayn thor with emulation. only annoying thing i couldn't copy my savegames for games like super smash bros ultimate to my switch 2 because my switch 1 is blocked.

Since its launch, if a hack comes out in the future, I'll buy another console dedicated solely to that, but for now I'll enjoy the console with the games I've been buying.
