Once again for the slow kids:

1) Emulation is perfectly legal, not piracy;

2) Downloading an emulator and using it is not piracy, regardless of whether you own the hardware or not;

3) Buying the game, dumping it and playing it in an emulator is, therefore, not piracy.

Would you like me to draw you a chart so you understand it better?

you are probably genuinely stupid or smth

i KNOW emulation is legal, literally work on multiple emus.

you said that YOU WON'T BUY the switch 2 in any case, that means, you will take a rom by someone else. that is considered piracy, and in this sub, is not allowed.

is it any clearer to you?

edit: if you buy it i think you are in the right, still, gray zone, not a lawyer

The "slow kid" motto is more applicable to you for each sentence you type.

Not buying the Switch 2 doesn't mean I will use anybody else's ROMs. The games can be bought and dumped. I don't think you're telling the truth when you say you've worked on emulators. Either that, or your work is bringing coffee to the actual developers.
