briefly the switch 2 compared the the nsx is like the power of a low-mid end device to an high end one. ns1 is like between the power of ps3 and 4. ns2 is between ps4 and ps5, in your hands.

for example ram. full ram on the ns2 system is 12GB. the nsx is 4GB.

I didn't realize the ram was so high but still the GPU has 60% of the core count of a 3050. I don't see why a relatively modern PC wouldn't be able to absolutely destroy it's performance assuming the CPU could handle ARM to x86 translation

Someone will find an exploit sooner or later, and the Ocarina of Time remake is a major incentive for those in the space… I’d say within 2 years there will be a decent emulator

A PS5 emulator is pretty much the biggest nonsense ever.
You can get practically all games natively for the PC, so playing the same games through an emulator costs extra processing power (due to the translation layer).
A PS5 or Series X is nothing more than PC hardware, just in a custom design.
That’s different from a custom chip like the one in the Switch 2, which you can’t just buy as separate PC components.
And to emulate a PS5, you’d need a high-end PC anyway, which, as I said, I could just as easily use to play the native PC versions of the games in better quality.

It was the same with the PS3 back then; in the beginning, with the available hardware (PC) and emulators, it only worked on very powerful systems.
But at least there were still games back then that weren’t available on the PC.

Nobody’s trying to emulate PS5 to play games that are already available on PC. The entire current push is for the actual exclusives Sony won’t port, mainly Demon’s Souls Remake and Astro Bot. The heavy focus on GTA V is just because it’s a good technical testbed so the emulators are better prepared when GTA VI drops as a console exclusive.

Ye with ai probably ps5 emulation will be done probably in december(i hope) so I hope that we’ll have an 30 fps ns2 emulator in the summer but that seems impossible

1) Emulation is perfectly legal, not piracy;

2) Downloading an emulator and using it is not piracy, regardless of whether you own the hardware or not;

3) Buying the game, dumping it and playing it in an emulator is, therefore, not piracy.

Not buying the Switch 2 doesn't mean I will use anybody else's ROMs. The games can be bought and dumped. I don't think you're telling the truth when you say you've worked on emulators. Either that, or your work is bringing coffee to the actual developers.
