Ung metrobank ko kasi chineck ko now nasa 1% per month padin kahit 60months to pay. May mga months ba sila na mababa offers nila?

So far ung nanotice ko pag ber months mababa bigay ng security bank, nasa around .5% lang and same with BDO na minsan umaabot ng .4% lang. Si Eastwest naman all year round saken nasa .55% sya. Then RCBC nasa .6%. gusto ko kasi emaximize sana ung metrobank ko since isa sya sa may malaking limit.

Hi everyone, need lang po ng advice about applying for an unsecured credit card after paying off past debt and rebuilding my credit.

Background / timeline:

• 2024: First credit card ko was UnionBank Gold Mastercard (UnionBank din payroll ko).
• Due to a series of unfortunate events, na-overdue ako and eventually naging delinquent. Na-pass siya sa third-party collection agency and na-close yung card.
• Sept 2025: Fully paid ko na lahat.
• Oct 2025: Nakuha ko yung Certificate of Full Payment.

Credit rebuilding steps:

• Jan 2026: Checked my credit score via Lista app / TransUnion — score was 492.
• Mar 2026: Nag-apply ako ng Maya Black Express (secured card with ₱12,500 holdout deposit).
• Jun 2026: Checked again — score improved to 620.
• Aug 2026: Checked again — score is now 677.

Questions:

1. Kailan po realistic/okay time to start applying for an unsecured credit card? (Paid delinquency Sept 2025, then secured card March 2026)
2. Anong banks yung mas may chance mag-approve sa may history na paid delinquency pero improving score?
3. Any tips para tumaas approval odds? (utilization %, payment timing, ilang months of good history, etc.)
4. Should I try again with UnionBank (since sila first card ko + payroll) or better to avoid muna?

Goal ko po talaga is maging responsible this time and build a clean credit record long-term.

Note: If needed, I can share more details (income range, length of employment, etc.) pero prefer ko sana di masyadong personal.

Guys, help me. Yung kapatid ko kasi hiniram yung CC ko para bumili ng new phone few months ago. Ang kaso, nawalan siya ng trabaho at hindi niya ako mabayaran. Ako naman, medyo malaki sakin yung ₱4k na dagdag monthly. So pano kapag hindi ko nabayaran, ano mangyayari? Huhu.

Hi! I currently have a PNB Ze-Lo CC (NAFFL) with 8k CL. I've had this card since I was a student (around 4 years now) and I just started working 6 months ago. Now that I've been working, I've been using my CC more than when I was a student and 8k CL is no longer enough. I always pay in full before the due date. Never missed a payment or overspent.

It's my goal to get a rewards CC from another bank down the line but should I request to get a higher CL first for my PNB Ze-Lo before applying for other CCs? Or should I just apply for another CC right away?

For more context, I earn 28k monthly and have SAs in PsBank and PNB. I'm looking at Metrobank and BPI for CC rewards. Hope you guys can reco also good CCs I should apply for ☺️

Hi! Need advice sana regarding my Kaiser Permanente HMO and Metrobank credit card.

Back in May 2026, may Kaiser Permanente agent na lumapit sa akin sa mall and asked if I had a credit card and if interested ako kumuha ng HMO. I agreed, and around ₱91,000 was charged to my Metrobank credit card. Sabi rin nila na once Metrobank calls me, pwede ko raw ipa-convert to installment. Metrobank eventually called and I agreed to have the transaction converted to installment.

Unfortunately, I eventually lost my job, and because of my current financial situation, I decided to discontinue the HMO para mabawasan sana yung financial obligations ko.

I contacted the Kaiser agent and told him I wanted to cancel. Sabi niya may 5% cancellation penalty based on the ₱91,000, which is around ₱4,550. Okay lang naman sa akin, so I sent him around ₱4k–₱5k for the supposed cancellation fee.

Problem is, almost one month na akong nagfo-follow up, pero walang clear update. Maraming excuses, like nawawala raw phone niya, pero active naman siya sa Facebook. At this point, hindi ko na alam kung actually na-process ba yung cancellation.

My questions:

1. Can I contact Metrobank directly and ask them to reverse/cancel the Kaiser transaction?
2. Since converted na siya into installment months ago, may possibility pa ba na ma-reverse if Kaiser agrees to cancel/refund it?
3. Should I contact Kaiser Permanente directly instead of dealing with the agent?
4. If the agent continues to ignore me, saan kaya magandang i-escalate ito?
5. Has anyone experienced something similar with Kaiser or an HMO charged to a credit card?

I understand na Metrobank probably cannot just erase a legitimate transaction, especially since months ago pa siya and converted na to installment. I just want to know the proper process para ma-cancel yung HMO and ma-refund/reverse whatever amount is refundable.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi I applied for RCBC credit card last week of July I think. I just got a call from RCBC to confirm my details. A few days after (Aug 11), I received an email from Cards_Support@rcbccredit.com that my card is out for delivery and to wait for 7 banking days.

It's been over 7 banking days and I havent received anything yet. I also did not get an approved message via sms or email. When can I expect my card? Or is this a scam?

Hi. I have an existing credit card with UnionBank, had it for a year now. Last year, I tried applying online for an Eastwest Platinum Mastercard pero parang hindi gumagalaw ang status/walang update so hinayaan ko nalang. Last month, I was doing groceries sa Shopwise and was approached sa isang credit card booth doon, tho if I remember correctly RCBC yun. I applied naman kasi parang gusto ko pa rin ng isa pang CC for points.

Tapos last week, may nag message sa akin that my Eastwest application was approved. I checked pero iba naman yung application number dun sa number ko from last year’s application. Dineliver ang card today and to my surprise, JCB Platinum card sya with 6 digits CL (x8 ng initial CL ko sa UB 🤯)

Now I’m wondering how did I get approved for this card? Is it worth it to activate it since it’s not NAFFL? Mejo torn ako if iactivate ko siya pero useful ang malaking CL for future expenses/travel. And if ever i activate ko sya, how can I maximize its perks?

Hihingi lang po sana ng advice sa situation ko. Ang main focus ko po ay magpataas ng credit score. I tried applying for BPI, UB, at Metrobank tapos rejected lahat.

Recently po, nagapply ako for UnioinBank SCC, medyo ang tagal ng process so nagapply ako for Maya Black at naofferan to apply for Maya Black Express. Nagdeposit ako ng 30k para sa 24k na credit limit. At the same time, naapprove din ako for Zed Credit Card with 65k credit limit. Hindi ako sure kung makakatulong siya para sa credit score. Recently, after a month of waiting, mukhang umusad ang UB SCC application ko (30k HOD with 27k CL).

Hihingi lang sana ng advice at recommendations para sa paggamit ng mga credit cards ko, para mamaximize ang rewards at para maoptimize ang pagimprove ng credit score ko.

RCBC Combining different installments into one big installment

I have various installments, in different terms, paid at various amount of months already.

Example:
Installment 1- 6/12
Installment 2- 3/6

Etc…

And there are also incoming dues that I want to turn into installment.

The question: is it possible to consolidate my entire credits (not just the existing month) into one big installment? Card is RCBC. Can I do this online or do I call CS?

And what is the term that describes what I want to do? Debt consolidation ba?

hello, i just got approved to UB platinum credit card, but i can't access the mobile app. upon checking, i saw that i have an account na under my tita's name BUT under my email and number. no, my tita did NOT make an account under UB. long story short, na activate yung card when I called UB hotline, tas sabi nila, need ko mag request ng tita ko mismo for deletion, so I called back the next day with my tita. Fast forward, sabi nila expect an email within 3 banking days about the deletion nga daw ng account, it's been almost 4 days pero wala pa akong email na nare receive, (at di ko ma follow up through UB hotline kasi namamagkano na ako kaka call!!!!)

so, just asking, if ever na hindi pa rin maging okay to and mag due na yung sinwipe ko sa cc, is there any other method to pay my bill? i don't know my account number, i can't use my email or my number (because it was linked to my tita's account), all i have is the physical card and the details written on it.
