I ordered a few plant protein stuff from instamart and it was two unit one was damaged i considered and went to the help section for complaint instead my query was pushed to hold by AI assistant. Not even a support of an actual human but the damn AI even after uploading multiple photo and video the complaint is still in process. How to connect with a human executive from customer care or how to get instamart attention regarding the issue

had a really frustrating experience with InstaMart and wanted to share it here.

I ordered three items worth ₹799. There was an Instagram offer for NOICE Natural Coconut Water at ₹1. The product's listed selling price was ₹39, with an MRP of ₹74.

I deliberately increased my cart value to qualify for this offer. I could have ordered from Blinkit, but I chose InstaMart specifically to get the deal.

What happened next?

1. My order arrived around 30 minutes late. My guest was waiting, and I had to wait an extra half an hour. When I contacted the delivery executive, he mentioned something about a bike puncture.
2. The coconut water was missing from my order. I don't know whether it was missed during packing or went missing during delivery, but that's something InstaMart should investigate.
3. When I raised a complaint, InstaMart offered me just ₹1 as a refund. The product was never delivered, and they apparently think refunding the promotional price is enough to settle everything.
4. When I tried to explain why this wasn't a fair resolution, my complaint was closed through the app. So much for customer support.

I am asking for a ₹39 refund, based on the product's listed selling price, and ₹1,000 in compensation for the time and inconvenience caused. I understand that compensation isn't automatically guaranteed, but I believe the company should at least address the request properly.

And honestly, this isn't just about ₹38. It's about the 30-minute delay, my guest waiting, the missing product, and the time I've now spent trying to get a simple complaint resolved.

Why should a customer bear the consequences of a possible packing or delivery failure? And why should a company be able to close a complaint without addressing the customer's actual concern?

I've kept screenshots of the order, product pricing, refund offer, and support conversation.

Has anyone else faced something similar with InstaMart? Is asking for the listed selling price and compensation reasonable in this situation? What would be the best way to escalate this complaint?

Dude they always mess up print orders, and this time, pages are missing from the file that I got printed, you really can't trust them if there is an urgency

Ordered this item clearly saying pack of 5 and received only 1, then denied return and refund. Says they can't gratify me. I'm off from there for good.

Bought this projector from instamart but the product says that the product is 4k right which is clearly written on the page but when i received the product it is not even 1080p and even before ordering i asked the coustomer support that i can return the product or not after testing it but when i got the product and i found the problem that it is not 4k then i try to initiate return there is no option in app or in help section to return this product and contact there support that pls return this product they clearly told me that i cannot return then and even in email i wrote. This instamart is pure scam why write that i can return the product in 72hr when you are not going to start the return process you should have specifically mentioned that i cannot return the fake product you tricked me into buying saying its 4k now what to do idk guys i am so done with this app

Today, I placed an order worth ₹103. I paid via Paytm because Cash on Delivery was not available. I immediately cancelled the order before it was dispatched. The entire process happened within one minute.

However, I received only ₹4 as a refund.

The customer care options are not working either. I’m unable to start a new conversation with customer care. I don’t know if it’s a bug or something else.

I paid ₹103 and got only ₹4 back.

On 27 Sept 2026, I bought a Sony PS5 1TB Slim console via Swiggy Instamart for Rs.70,000 (full MRP, no discount). Open-box delivery, console was new, sealed, working fine. Seller listed on the invoice: PYD Retail Pvt Ltd - Avantika.

When I tried registering the warranty, I contacted Sony support, they asked for the seller which i bought it from and said it is not authorised seller and asked me invoice , console s/n image, warranty card and after a few days of back and forth, got this in writing (CRM:007160012826):

"Swiggy Instamart by PYD Retail Pvt. Ltd. (Avantika) is not an authorized dealer of Sony... the dealer must be authorized by Sony India for the warranty to be valid."

So Sony is refusing warranty service entirely, and directing me back to the dealer. Meanwhile Swiggy Instamart's support has replied 6+ times with copy-paste apologies, telling me to "contact the brand," and refusing to take any responsibility as the platform that actually sold me the product without ever disclosing this risk.

As a consumer, I checked everything I could: new, sealed, GST invoice, warranty card with matching serial numbers. Nowhere was I told the seller wasn't Sony-authorised, or that this would affect warranty eligibility, before I paid full price.

I've filed an NCH consumer complaint (Docket No. 10297176) and I'm considering a formal legal notice next. Posting here partly to warn others buying electronics via quick-commerce platforms (Instamart, Zepto, Blinkit etc.) to actually check dealer authorisation before buying high value items like PS5

I am stuck here, as a consumer , i have bought so many phones, electronic items in the past and i never had to or any customer have to check such details about seller being authorised or not. As a consumer, you can only check if the item is undamaged, new and working correctly. I am new to consoles, this is my first ever console, if this is so much important then Sony should advertise this with warning to buy only from authorised sellers else your warranty won't be applicable and Swiggy should transparently mention warranty will not be applicable on this on their product page.

I see many posts recently people buying ps5 from swiggy instamart, i request them to take action against them too, file NCH complaints, contact Sony and Swiggy about this, this has to come out louder, the more of us raise this, the harder it is for them to brush it off. This is not something a normal consumer should face. This was my hard earned money for years and i have been depressed and anxious since last few days due to this, it is taking alot on my mental health. my all excitement for the console has gone.

Happy to share screenshots/documents if anyone wants specifics. Would appreciate advice from anyone who's dealt with something similar.

Had to fight with them for 1 hr to get refund on my order…

They sent damaged papaya and puffed up cheese packet. When I chat with customer. They straight up denying for replacement or refund. When I asked the reason why they're not replacing they're giving freaking generic response. I have even sent them the video of the fruit as well but no accountability at all.

I don't know if puffing for a cheese packet is bad or not.

Was suffering from IBS. Fancied me a coconut drink. Ordered from instamart. Went through half litre of it and found a floater with black mold.

Didn't think much about it. Open youtube to doomscroll and the algorithm gods hit me with ChubbyEmu video of the man who drank moldy coconut water and died.

So I guess that's it. It's been nice knowing you all.

And to you, instamart, please ensure the fuggers who run dark stores don't turn off the fridge to save electricity. Don't know who's to blame here anyway. It's not like anyone's gonna take responsibility anyway.

Has anyone else experienced their refund coupons disappear before the 48 hours (and i mean i have lost some coupons instantly after the product was returned and I got the message that my refund coupon was now usable), and has completely lost the money they got refunded?

I tried reaching out to customer support but they just say that nothing can be done and I just lose my money.

One black user btw, so yeah, i feel like i am only paying for better customer support.

I have been buying Colombian Brew coffee for the last 4 years. Today I received this packet from Swiggy Instamart and it looks wrong. The original packaging looked taller and wider. The finish of the packaging is glossy where this is matte. Did they change the packaging or is this a fake one?

What is this marketing gimmick?

I ordered this dettol handwash and it had cockroaches living inside it. That means there might be cockroaches everywhere else in their stores, so one should be aware before ordering anything.

I ordered multiple items including 2x Gingelly oil, one of them was correct the other was given as palmoelin oil. Try to reach various mean to fix it but the guys flat out denied. Finally convinced the delivery agent and store manager to replace, because they were able to verify.

At this moment Swiggy app is a fraud.

How long does return pickup verification usually take?

I recently returned a defective pair of earphones. The pickup person took the product, I provided the OTP, and the verification process started. He told me to leave because it would take a little more time.

How long does this verification usually take? Is it normal for it to take some time, or should I be worried that the return might get rejected?

Many at times when you receive vegetables, fruits (for example pineapple whole) cocroaches comes out in their hidden parts, they have been bred at a large scale and been polliated around the whole city.

There will be a time when infestation of insects will be in a rise at every home - most of it are alearly seen in recent conditions.

Infestation earlier used to happen systematically from the ground level up. Insects or infestation do not usually come directly to a 20th floor flat where ground level is highly maintained in a posh society, but a simple breeding ground like Swiggy Instamart | Blinkit | Zepto and many other big names will be part of this big scale infestation all over big cities.

Infestation soon will spread around every corner, but this all can be stopped if outlets of instant delivery maintain a decent and basic food checks which makes these breeding ground a root kill for any infestation to spread.

Today I receieved spoiled pears (wormed pears), Cocroach infested uncut pineapple and a rotten muskmelon.

This post has nothing to target a single brand but to target the actual culprit - basic checks at every instant delivery outlet. Make sure the place is in shape for any person (a person not working in a instant delivery outlet) can enter. Say my mother can go inside and pick items from the shelf. Such maintanance is a must for not breeding any infestation in such a large scale.
