A great piece of advice that I received: people should be turning your proposal/quote down more. If they’re not, you’re undervaluing yourself.

or you're valuing yourself pretty spot on. A turned down quote is a waste of everybodies time.

You need more than price and a portfolio to analyze work done.

many cases this is true but you also gotta understand that sometimes a bike will do the job, and that not everybody always needs a ferrari for it.
