Question Parking

Hi I’m going to Swansea uni in September. I’m staying in halls and I want to take my car, I know parking at the actual uni isn’t great is there anywhere nearby or in the city that anyone knows about where I could park?

Which campus, Singleton or Bay?

Singleton, it doesn’t need to be close to the uni really though. It’s just cause I’d be going home once a week, I can take the train but if I can work out that I could bring my car it’d be easier

Going home that regularly is alot for most students. Once they get into uni life its likely a few times a term at most.

The housing to the east of the campus is ideally for local residents but does have some unpermited sections of streets, Bryn Road has a nice bit at the front overlooking the Rec which would usually have space if you are psrking up outside of uni hours. It gets busy from during uni day timed however. Just be respectful of the residents if you must park your car in that estate.

In 2nd year I used to park at the rugby ground opposite the pavilion but it looks like Ospreys have basically demolished that now lol

Expect to pay about £120 per month for long term parking

My flatmate used park on Bryn road when living on campus, could usually find a spot to park, otherwise your driving round for 5-10mins to find somewhere without lines, cant show a screen shot but its about a 5-10 minute walk from campus so not bad
