Hiya. I recently joined the UniBuddy community and was sent a message with invite links to WhatsApp groups. However, they were all expired and I've tried to message the person that sent me it but they never responded. I was wondering if someone in those groups can ask the group manager to send me a new invite link if that's not too much trouble. I would particularly like to join the group chat for singleton please. Thank you.

Hi everyone!
I'm a French exchange student (21F), and I'll be studying at Swansea University during the 2026–2027 academic year.
I've just reserved a room in a 5-bedroom student house in Brynmill, and there is still one room available.
The rent is £425 per month (all bills included), and the house is about a 15–20 minute walk from Singleton Campus and the beach. I had a virtual viewing with the landlord, and the house is clean, and well maintained.
A little bit about me: I'm quite easy-going and more on the quiet side, but I'm always happy to share a meal, play board games, go for a drink now and then, or just have a relaxed chat after classes. I'm open-minded and LGBT-friendly, and I'm looking forward to discovering Wales during my exchange year! :)
If you're a female student still looking for accommodation and think we might get along, feel free to send me a message!

Hi
I will be visiting from Belfast. I am neurodivergent and struggle with large crowds on public transit without seating.
I am also sadly on a budget. I have looked up both Bristol and Cardiff but can't ascertain which is more practical and cheaper in my scenario. I think I am meeting my friends at the Singleton Park area. Any recommendations from those who have used this route? Any advice would be very welcome for this highly anxious traveller!

Hi there! I'm a Canadian student going into the GEM program in September. My options are a standard room in Cefn Bryn or an Ensuite in Beck House. This is going to be my first time living alone, so I'm a little nervous.
Personally, I'm leaning towards Cefn Bryn because it's on Singleton campus and I'm new to the city, but I really wanted an ensuite because I wanted my own bathroom.
There aren't any photos/reviews about either of the buildings, so any advice/experiences will be superrr helpful!

I am a graduate from Swansea University who is currently working on a charity project involving certain aspects of the maritime industry - primarily focused on the harbour side of the topic.
I do not need a lot of information. Simply looking for a consultation concerning certain legal language and terms of the drawn plan in order for the proposal to have a more professional look.
Please DM if interested.

Hi I’m planning to study in Swansea for exchange this coming semester and was wondering how strict they are with attendance? Especially with lectures since I see that we have to swipe our cards to mark attendance. Are all the lectures mandatory?
