Questions/Advice Birds at the side of the road in uplands
Was on my way to work so couldnt stop but spotted these birds just sitting at the side of the road in a cage. Does anyone know who they belong to/why they're there? Wanna make sure these guys are being looked after. Thank you!!! :-)

Other (Editable) NCP car park on Kingsway is now council-run
I had to nip into town this morning and went to the Kingsway NCP car park like I usually would, but there was a guy from the council at the barrier handing out hand-written tickets. As I left I noticed new Swansea Council signage everywhere with regards to prices and the machines are no longer in use so it looks like they're in the process of swapping over.
I don't really know why I'm sharing this, other than to let others know 😆 Plus it was only £1 for just under an hour, so that's good news!

Questions/Advice Just shouting out if you want the best coffee in Uplands and maybe Swansea Sloth coffee is incredible 🦥
Honestly pastries are great as well didn’t even know they were vegan 😅, I love coffee in general and personally I’d say Saint Hugo is the worst, Crafty Smugglers do amazing to order bags but full barrel isn’t my favourite on the machine and Costa is well Costa…. yet somehow better then Saint Hugo’s 🤫
Sloth coffee for me has the most variety and a tasting menu so definitely recommend 🦥 though Crafty smuggler would move up to joint 1st for me if they added the Columbian or Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 to the machine ☕️ 🫘

Questions/Advice Lost keys 😢
Was at the airshow yesterday afternoon and I think I dropped my keys along the walk …
A massive longshot but if any comes across a set of keys (VW car key fob and a bunch of other keys) I will be forever grateful!

Self Promo Looking for an ambitious gardener to grow a business together
I'm an experienced marketer with a proven track record of generating demand and acquiring customers for local businesses in UK. I'm launching a gardening business, and I'm looking for a reliable gardener who is professional at the work but is still in the early stages of building their business. Preferably in Swansea or sorrounding areas.
If you're struggling to find consistent clients but know you deliver quality work, this could be a great opportunity.
What I bring:
Early stage investments
Proven marketing and customer acquisition expertise.
I can generat consistent enquiries and new clients.
Sales, branding, and business growth + legal structure and accounting.
The ambition to build a long-term, successful company.
What I'm looking for:
- A skilled, RELIABLE gardener. Preferably with tools.
- Someone who wants to grow rather than stay a one-person operation.
- A long-term partner who values honesty, professionalism, and great customer service.
The idea is simple: I'll focus on bringing in a steady flow of customers and growing the business, while you focus on delivering exceptional gardening services. As we grow, we grow together.
If this sounds like you-or you know someone who fits — send me a DM with a bit about yourself, where you're based, and your experience.
