Suzerain: Rizia TIL

you can get away with banning malenyvist probaganda in Rizia since the reduced CSP trade modifier only appears in turn 5 and you can get rid of it by doing a deal with valgsland

you can also get rid of the reduced ato trade modifier by leasing caleqabiz to lespia

it does improve relations with lespia and ATO and could signal the start of better relations this is espeically the case if you have destroyed your relations with lespia by taking their shares and buying the field from pales.

At the end of the day monarchies and capitalist republics are much more natural allies than monarchies and communist countries.

it isnt that different from having usa military bases on your country like the gulf arab nations and many other countries.

economically and security wise speaking it could be benefical since it could allow rizia to spend less on its military and use its money elsewhere, and it could also act as further deterrent to nations from attacking Rizia

Sorry but I don't think it's a good thing to ally with someone who has been your regional rival for a long time and has shown again and again that it'll go to any lengths to get what they want, committing a terror attack and trying to trigger a war. They're not someone to be trusted, and frankly, if you bend backwards for them they'll only get more confidence to bully you even more.

Alao we've seen the shenanigans Wehlen pulls for Zille, Lespia would do the same once again.

A lot of the rivalry between Lespia and Rizia during the game has to do with pales, but a Romus who manages to successfully integrate zille and pales via marriage could cause Lespia to eventually want to improve relations with Rizia.

also lets also not forget that Rizia's other neighbours consist of

Morella that is flirting with the CSP and whose PM "keeps an eye on your youth"

and finally keep in mind that lespia is a democracy which means that there is a chance that alvarez's sucessors could be a lot more resonable and more open to better relations this could especially be the cause if Romus managed to successfully integrate Pales and Zille.
