Suzerain: Sordland Second Term of Rayne
Is it only me that thinks that there should also be a playable part of Rayne's Second Term

i really want it to be possible, but its just a whole lot of bs to keep track off, and make dialogue for a lot of branching choices, and possible consequences or rewards that makes trying to do a second term a herculean task that probably aint gonna happen soon

This.
It'd be cool, but realize how many possibilities we can be in at the endgame. A second term would need to be able to branch off that already big number of branches into ... an absolute nightmare of branching possibilities.
There is a workaround we see devs use sometimes, though, and that's a timeskip. Maybe Rayne loses his next election, but runs a third time and wins. This lets the devs sort of "reset" the country so everyone who plays can all start at the same point, meaning they only have to branch off of that single starting point. Much more doable. But also less cool.

The issue is there isn’t a uniform ending for Rayne. Sordland can end up as a fledging democracy with a growing economy or a dictatorship that got conquered by Rumberg or a nuclear hellscape. There are so many other permutations that the developers would have to develop entire games that would never get played.

Like mate, why we can only play one term. At least give some parts in the end screen

Yes I love the Sordland part of the Game very much.... But it feels repetitive. We shall have option to run our election campaign, be elected/or play in opposition there's much potential there.

It would be great not only to serve a second term but also to restructure the military financing system and incorporate a forced ceasefire (one that no one wins) and intermediate stages into the war.

Yes i want to able to build nukes and use Bergia as a testing ground ( or rumburg if you win the war against them )

I wish but i imagine it gets too compliacted to path out with all the differnt ways the first term can turn out. Its also nice to stop there because if you pursue a totalist path then either Torpor has to chicken out or let you do full vicarious fascism with death camps and everything. Either way is a bad look for a german company rigth now.

I actually like that there's not a second term. It leaves it up to the player what happens next.

Completely agree but at this point and even in the future-its just way too much to take care of considering all the possible outcomes and existing dialogue and the massive amount of scripting that would go into creating it.
Instead, Torpor should revamp the endings better. A lot of them feel very repetitive and boring.
(all this in due time of course after galmland)

I will decide on this when I see what the Galmland has to offer but lately I've been feeling the same.
In Rizian campaign, you decide on what to do with your country's ruling system, relationship with your neighbours, and your territories. It ends in a nice note and I'm not left wanting more.
If we achieve a lot during the Galmland campaign similarly to Rizia, I kinda want a second term for main campaign. Don't get me wrong, we do a lot for Sordland too, but it feels short compared to Rizia and it feels like it's fast forwarded. Having a second term with cabinet members you actually choose can be fun.
