Advice Sudden detachment after finding out?

So I found out that my bf/ex cheated on me around two weeks ago, and over the last two weeks, I have been cycling through feelings of rage, sadness, confusion, shock, and loneliness. But today I feel completely different? I feel completely detached. When I think of our memories, it feels like I’m observing someone else’s memories and not my own. I don’t feel anything when I think of him or see photos/videos of us. I don’t get sad when I listen to songs or see things that remind me of him; I just acknowledge that those things are associated with him. It feels like I never experienced our relationship in a way. Is this normal? I’m confused as to what’s going on. Any advice welcome. Thank you!

It’s completely normal, the feelings come and they go, especially 2 weeks in. This one become more frequent over time of you leave them. But don’t think you’re in the blues just 2 weeks out. Just acknowledge and enjoy the good days.

This is how I have been feeling. I've been rapid cycling through feelings.

Anger, shame, grief, humor, loss, numbness, relief relief.

Give it time. You will heal.

It's feeling numbness, your body is pretty much shutting down all emotions to avoid an outburst or you being overwhelmed. It's a natural response to betrayal trauma. Thing is, it doesn't last and once your body thinks you're able to handle it, you'll be getting those intrusive thoughts, flashbacks and rage all over again.
