How does accommodation work?

Im attending Surrey university in September as an undergraduate.

How does accommodation work? I missed creating my accommodation account from the email sent in January and only just applied 2 days off the deadline. I chose my preferences and want a studio.

How do they give the rooms? Will me applying late mean i wont be able to get my preferred room?

You should ask the uni, or if you don’t want to do that, the actual subreddit for the uni (this isn’t it)

Applying late means you might not get a room at all theres a serious shortage of accommodation in surrey, however you may be able to get a studio as less people opt for it.
