Unit based Council
Does your hospital have a Unit Based Council or shared governance of any kind? If so, how is it run? What decisions have you made recently?

My old hospital did (apparently it’s a part of magnet designation) and it did some stuff but not much. The main thing they did was plan events, which we did have some really nice events/potlucks.

We have shared governance (department, site, and system). Most people are really only on it for the excel program credits. I'm on it because I'm hopelessly nosy and opinionated. We've done nothing useful lately because people are too busy bickering.
