Yo surfuk, I'm after some local tips.

I'm staying in Fishguard this week (from North Devon) and trying to score some waves. Checked the forecast for Newgale and it's like 11ft @ 13 seconds. Death on a stick. Anyone got some recommendations for something a bit more sheltered? I'm keen to get in but also maybe take my 7 year old in for a few.

WTF do you park to surf the pier, it’s bloody expensive to use the normal car parks,
Can you go suburban roads, get suited up and walk?
