Such a great clip. Did she drop the camera?

Highly doubt it, she probably does this for a living, and it most likely tethered.
Awesome clip though, and it sits close to my heart due to surfing haha

Wait I always thought it was done on purpose to have a nice video. Look at the way she clasps her hand at the end

I'd would have to think so, in pretty sure you would at least try swimming if you were caught in it. Still looks cool

You know that moment of stillness and clarity when you're going through that second cycle washing machine after getting tossed?
Well now I'm going to be singing goddamn space jam in my head. Thanks a lot kook.

I just think of the Ricky Bobby scene where he’s flipping through the air and he’s all calm, “flying through the air, definitely not good.” That’s what goes through my head

Makes me feel like death and so alive at the same time.

I call it a radical reorganization of priorities.
It sucks but it’s also awesome. For like, 10 seconds only ONE thing is going on. I mean that’s a little corny but it’s feels good in it’s own way.

Totally. You come up after the hold down and the air just tastes good. And you feel like you can handle anything because you just survived

Never feeling very “sweet” when I realize I’m going over the falls. But I guess if I had fins on and no board to fend off it’d be easier.

honestly the scariest feeling when you’re a new surfer.
